World’s Most Powerful Home Super Computer UnveiledAMD launches the most powerful home gaming PC in the world, capable of delivering real time cinematic rendering of current-generation movie-quality CGI. Powered by a series of new AMD chips the Quad Core Phenom CPU includes a set of four CPUs on one chip, and four Radeon HD 3000 graphics processors. The CPU has the raw computing power of over 80 Sony PS3s, capable of delivering what many consider the holy grail of gaming experiences, real time cinematic rendering of current-generation movie-quality CGI in essence, playing a movie as one would play a video game, with no degradation of quality. To put the new PC into some perspective, Deep Blue, probably the most celebrated gaming computer ever built was constructed by IBM in 1997 to beat Gary Kasparov at chess. It cost millions of dollars to build and weighed 1.4 tonnes. Exactly 10 years on, AMD are launching a home supercomputer that has the power of 200 Deep Blues (11 GigaFLOPs) but costs $2000 dollars. This kind of supercomputing power has traditionally been reserved exclusively for the most advanced scientists and research with multi-million dollar budgets putting massive supercomputing power well within the range of everyday people. Sai Baba Shirdi Wale Sai Baba of Shirdi (October 15, 1918), also known as Shirdi Sai Baba was an Indian guru, yogi and fakir who is regarded by his Hindu and Muslim followers as a saint. Some of his Hindu devotees believe that he was an incarnation of Shiva or Dattatreya. Many devotees believe that he was a Sadguru. There are many stories and eyewitness accounts of miracles he performed. He is a well-known figure in many parts of the world, but especially in India, where he is much revered. The name 'Sai Baba' is a combination of Persian and Indian origin; Sai (Sa'ih) is the Persian term for "well learned" or "knowledgeable", usually attributed to Islamic ascetics, whereas Baba (honorific) is a word meaning "father; grandfather; old man; sir" used in Indo-Aryan languages. The appellative thus refers to Sai Baba as being a "holy father" or "saintly father". His parentage, birth details, and life before the age of sixteen are obscure, which has led to a variety of speculations and theories attempting to explain Sai Baba's origins. In his life and teachings he tried to reconcile Hinduism and Islam: Sai Baba lived in a mosque which he called Dwarakamayi, practiced Hindu and Muslim rituals, taught using words and figures that drew from both traditions and was buried in a Hindu temple in Shirdi. Dwarakmayi One of his well known epigrams says of God: "Sabka Malik Ek Hai" ("One God governs all") which traces its root to the Bhagavad-Gita and Islam in general, and Sufism, in particular. He always uttered "Allah Malik" ("God is Master"). He had no love for perishable things, and was always engrossed in self-realization, which was his sole concern. Sai Baba taught a moral code of love, forgiveness, helping others, charity, contentment, inner peace, devotion to God and guru. His teachings combined elements of Hinduism and Islam and tried to achieve communal harmony between these religions. Sai Baba remains a very popular saint and is worshipped by people around the world. Debate over his Hindu or Muslim origins continues to take place. He is also revered by several notable Hindu and Sufi religious leaders. Some of his disciples received fame as spiritual figures and saints such as Upasni Maharaj, Meher Baba, Saint Bidkar Maharaj, Saint Gangagir, Saint Jankidas Maharaj and Sati Godavari Mataji. Just to spread and share some knowledge around. I installed a Windows 7 64 bit in a friend's laptop yesterday which had a Vista (a crap one) He was very happy to get rid of it.
So this weekend I am upgrading a Friends PC , he has a Pentium 4 HT 3.00 GHz and a 512 MB Ram with the motherboard that shares RAM.
Now I gave him a quote of what he needs to bring and I can assemble him one during the weekend and without spending much.

I urgently needed a few days off work, but I knew the boss would not allow me to take leave. I thought that maybe if I acted 'crazy' he would tell me to take a few days off.
So, I hung upside-down on the ceiling and made funny noises.
My co-worker (who's blonde) asked me what I was doing.I told her that I was pretending to be a light bulb, so that the boss might think I was 'crazy' and give me a few days off.
A few minutes later the Boss came into the office and asked, 'What in the name of good GOD are you doing?'
I told him I was a light bulb.
He said, 'You are clearly stressed out. Go home and recuperate for a couple of days.'
I jumped down and walked out of the office...
When my co-worker (the blonde) followed me, the Boss asked her,'And where do you think you're going....
(You're gonna love this....)
She said, 'I'm going home, too. You can't possibly expect me to work in the dark!’

Indian Toddler Gursharan Singh's Death Families in two towns of Punjab plunged into grief as Australian authorities began probing the unnatural death of an Indian toddler who was on a holiday in Melbourne with his family while Prime Minister Kevin Rudd pledged to get to the bottom of the “horrible” incident. “The death of any little child causes everyone in this country to stop, pause, think, reflect. If this is a case of murder, there is nothing worse than the brutal murder of a little child. The authorities are investigating it and we have every confidence the authorities will get to the bottom of it,” Rudd was quoted by AAP as saying. His comments came as police said the autopsy failed to determine the cause of death of three-year-old Gursharan Singh whose body was found on the side of a road in Melbourne’s northern suburbs six hours after he disappeared from the family home yesterday. Gursharan was in Australia on a holiday with his family and was due to return to India later this week. His body was found by a council worker in long grass around 30 km from his residence. His mother Harpreet Kaur, who was studying in Australia, rang police after he had been missing for 45 minutes, prompting a massive search involving more than 15 police units, the dog squad and air wing. The family had arrived in Australia from India on January 9, planning to stay. However, they decided to leave next week as the father, Harjeet Singh, could not find work. Relatives and friends of Harjeet Singh said he used to run a fitness club in Kotkapura but had shut shop two months ago to join his wife in Melbourne who had taken joined a food processing course. “His father told me that Rinto (Harjeet’s nickname) would be returning home on March 8. First, I was told that our baby has been kidnapped. Later, I was told he is dead,” said Harjeet’s uncle Darshan Singh. Harjeet’s parents are settled in Canada. As word of Gursharan’s death spread, Harjeet’s friends rushed to Guruharsahai to be with his in-laws. Gursharan apparently disappeared around 1 pm Thursday while his mother was taking a shower. His father had stepped out of home and police believe that Gursharan followed him out of the house but failed to catch up with him.

Hybrid Engine (The 40kW 8 valves 2 cylinder with 750ccm engine can electively produce electric power by the generator or drive the wheels direct.) Hybrid Engines are typically described as engines with two power sources. The most common today is a hybrid gas-electric engine that combines the low pollution output of an electric engine, with the high power output of a gas engine. There are as many gas-electric engines as there are hybrid cars. Each engine is designed to allow the gas engine and the electric engine to connect to the drive train to power the engine. The gas engine and the brakes are used to recharge the battery for the electric engine eliminating the need to plug in overnight, as is necessary for a plug in electric only engine. When braking, some of the energy being expended to stop a car is collected by the regenerative brakes in an electric engine. Typically, in a full hybrid, the electric engine takes control when the car is cruising, at stop, or when slowly accelerating. When extra power is needed, the gas engine kicks in to give the acceleration expected from today's cars. By allowing the electric engine to take over, hybrids are able to get higher mpg than their sister cars with gas only engines. But since most of the energy is collected/saved when the car is stopped or in braking, hybrid cars tend to get better mileage in city driving. Which is opposite what gas only cars should expect, as gas engines are most efficient at high speeds (highway). When comparing hybrid cars to plug-ins, hybrid engines have not only eliminated the need for plugging in, they have also increased the range that is possible. Different Layouts Working model

Civil rights movement in South Africa (1893–1914):In South Africa, Gandhi faced discrimination directed at Indians. He was thrown off a train at Pietermaritzburg after refusing to move from the first class to a third class coach while holding a valid first class ticket. He suffered other hardships on the journey as well, including being barred from several hotels.Gandhi extended his original period of stay in South Africa to assist Indians in opposing a bill to deny them the right to vote. Though unable to halt the bill's passage, his campaign was successful in drawing attention to the grievances of Indians in South Africa. He helped found the Natal Indian Congress in 1894,and through this organization, he molded the Indian community of South Africa into a homogeneous political force. In 1906, the Transvaal government promulgated a new Act compelling registration of the colony's Indian population. At a mass protest meeting held in Johannesburg on 11 September that year, Gandhi adopted his still evolving methodology of "satyagraha" (devotion to the truth), or non-violent protest, for the first time, calling on his fellow Indians to defy the new law and suffer the punishments for doing so, rather than resist through violent means.Indian protesters finally forced South African General Jan Christiaan Smuts to negotiate a compromise with Gandhi.Gandhi's ideas took shape and the concept of satyagraha matured during this struggle. Struggle for Indian Independence (1915–1945)In 1915, Gandhi returned from South Africa to live in India. Gandhi believed that the industrial development and educational development that the Europeans had brought with them were required to alleviate many of India's problems. Gopal Krishna Gokhale, a veteran Congressman and Indian leader, became Gandhi's mentor. Gandhi's ideas and strategies of non-violent civil disobedience initially appeared impractical to some Indians and Congressmen. In Gandhi's own words, "civil disobedience is civil breach of unmoral statutory enactments." It had to be carried out non-violently by withdrawing cooperation with the corrupt state. Gandhi's ability to inspire millions of common people became clear when he used satyagraha during the anti-Rowlatt Act protests in Punjab. Gandhi’s vision would soon bring millions of regular Indians into the movement, transforming it from an elitist struggle to a national one. The positive impact of reform was seriously undermined in 1919 by the Rowlatt Act.In protest, a nationwide cessation of work (hartal) was called, marking the beginning of widespread, although not nationwide, popular discontent.13 April 1919, in the Jallianwala Bagh(Amritstar),5,000 men, women and children gathered to protest. The British military commander, Brigadier-General Reginald Dyer, blocked the main entrance, and ordered his soldiers to fire into an unarmed and unsuspecting crowd killing 379 people (as according to an official British commission; Indian estimates ranged as high as 1,499). Non-CooperationGandhi employed non-cooperation, non-violence and peaceful resistance as his "weapons" in the struggle against British. In Punjab, the Jallianwala Bagh massacre of civilians by British troops (also known as the Amritsar Massacre) caused deep trauma to the nation, leading to increased public anger and acts of violence. Gandhi criticized both the actions of the British Raj and the retaliatory violence of Indians. He authored the resolution offering condolences to British civilian victims and condemning the riots which, after initial opposition in the party, was accepted following Gandhi's emotional speech advocating his principle that all violence was evil and could not be justified. But it was after the massacre and subsequent violence that Gandhi's mind focused upon obtaining complete self-government and control of all Indian government institutions, maturing soon into Swaraj or complete individual, spiritual, political independence. Also Gandhi expanded his non-violence platform to include the swadeshi policy — the boycott of foreign-made goods, especially British goods. Linked to this was his advocacy that khadi (homespun cloth) be worn by all Indians instead of British-made textiles. Salt Satyagraha (Salt March)Gandhi stayed out of active politics and, as such, the limelight for most of the 1920s. He focused instead on resolving the wedge between the Swaraj Party and the Indian National Congress, and expanding initiatives against untouchability, alcoholism, ignorance and poverty. Gandhi launched a new satyagraha against the tax on salt in March 1930. This was highlighted by the famous Salt March to Dandi from 12 March to 6 April, where he marched 388 kilometres (241 miles) from Ahmedabad to Dandi, Gujarat to make salt himself. Thousands of Indians joined him on this march to the sea. This campaign was one of his most successful at upsetting British hold on India; Britain responded by imprisoning over 60,000 people. World War II and Quit IndiaWorld War II broke out in 1939 when Nazi Germany invaded Poland. After long deliberations, Gandhi declared that India could not be party to a war ostensibly being fought for democratic freedom, while that freedom was denied to India itself. As the war progressed, Gandhi intensified his demand for independence, drafting a resolution calling for the British to Quit India. This was Gandhi's and the Congress Party's most definitive revolt aimed at securing the British exit from India. Quit India became the most forceful movement in the history of the struggle, with mass arrests and violence on an unprecedented scale.Thousands of freedom fighters were killed or injured by police gunfire, and hundreds of thousands were arrested. Gandhi and his supporters made it clear they would not support the war effort unless India were granted immediate independence. He even clarified that this time the movement would not be stopped if individual acts of violence were committed, saying that the "ordered anarchy" around him was "worse than real anarchy." He called on all Congressmen and Indians to maintain discipline via ahimsa, and Karo Ya Maro ("Do or Die") in the cause of ultimate freedom. Freedom and partition of IndiaGandhi advised the Congress to reject the proposals the British Cabinet Mission offered in 1946, as he was deeply suspicious of the grouping proposed for Muslim-majority states—Gandhi viewed this as a precursor to partition. However, this became one of the few times the Congress broke from Gandhi's advice (though not his leadership), as Nehru and Patel knew that if the Congress did not approve the plan, the control of government would pass to the Muslim League. Between 1946 and 1948, over 5,000 people were killed in violence. Gandhi was vehemently opposed to any plan that partitioned India into two separate countries. But an overwhelming majority of Muslims living in India, alongside Hindus and Sikhs, favoured partition. Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the leader of the Muslim League, commanded widespread support in West Punjab, Sindh, North-West Frontier Province and East Bengal. The partition plan was approved by the Congress leadership as the only way to prevent a wide-scale Hindu-Muslim civil war. Gandhi dislike the partition idea but Gandhi's closest colleagues had accepted partition as the best way out, and Sardar Patel endeavoured to convince Gandhi that it was the only way to avoid civil war. A devastated Gandhi gave his assent. AssassinationOn 30 January 1948, Gandhi was shot while having his nightly public walk on the grounds of the Birla Bhavan (Birla House) in New Delhi. The assassin, Nathuram Godse, was a Hindu nationalist with links to the extremist Hindu Mahasabha, who held Gandhi responsible for weakening India by insisting upon a payment to Pakistan.Godse and his co-conspirator Narayan Apte were later tried and convicted; they were executed on 15 November 1949.

Why do Mosquito bites itch? When a mosquito bites, she leaves behind saliva. In fact, the saliva present in mosquito bites serves the mosquito well, since it works as an anti-coagulant. These means the mosquito can quickly draw blood without catching your attention. The saliva injected when a mosquito bites causes our bodies to produce a histamine response. We have a slight allergy response, and thus our skin around the bite area gets itchy. This can actually be a good thing, even if it’s an annoying one, because mosquito bites can transfer disease. In the US, risk of West Nile Virus is the main concern. In other countries, mosquito bites may transfer malaria and other quite nasty germs. If our bodies didn’t respond with the itch factor to mosquito bites, we might not realize we’d been bitten. Though knowing you’ve been bitten may not prevent the spread of disease, you can tell your doctor about it if you develop severe flu symptoms a few days or weeks later. Some people build up a tolerance to mosquito bites. They may barely notice when they’ve been bitten, and the skin may not swell up. This is sort of like getting allergy shots. Small doses of mosquito saliva over time can cause us to become immune to the saliva. Adults more typically have less of a reaction to mosquito bites than do children. This immunity can wear off after a while, and an adult who hasn’t had mosquito bites for a few years might become itchy again after receiving a few new mosquito bites. Other people may have strong allergic reactions to mosquito bites. These are not usually anaphylactic shock reactions, like those caused by bee venom in people allergic to bees. Instead the skin may develop blisters, bruises or scabs. A child with an allergic reaction to mosquito bites can look almost like he or she has a case of chicken pox. It can help people with extremely itchy mosquito bites to use oral antihistamines or topical antihistamine creams on bites. People who have a lot of bites and swelling from bites should be watched for possible infection of the bite sites.
