Lamborghini Gallardo LP 620 Yarrow -Wheelsandmore Wheelsandmore from Germany, individual luxury tuner for sports- and supersportscars, exclusively presents their latest relaese, based on a Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 called „YarroW“. To increase serial performance they used a special stainless steel, valve controlled exhaustsystem, combined with an ECU upgrade and a special carbon airbox obtaining enormous 620 hp / 580 lb-ft at 6400 rpm. Controlling that power requires a high performance brake system. So it was necessary to develop a 8-piston caliper with 14.96 inch brake discs in the front and a 6-piston caliper with 14.17 inch discs in the rear with special high-end brake pads. Even more agility through 3-piece forged lightweight wheels, unlimited colour and surface combinations possible. For perfect visual appearance and handling they customized their „6Sporz“ model sizing 8,5x20“ with Dunlop Sport Maxx tyres 235/30/20 in the front and a 11,5x20“ with 305/25/20 in the rear. So that sportier performances and still more aggressive occurrence are lent to the italian sportscar, the tuner adapted a race established special coilover with adjustable rebound and compression, hydraulically liftable around 1.77 inch. Finally the YarroW got a lot of carbon parts out- and inside as a covered frontflap, the mirrors, the rear diffusor and several parts inside for the perfect sportsfeeling.

THE real jewel in Britain's actual crown will not be returning to India, Prime Minister David Cameron said today, as he ruled out any repatriation of the famed Kohinoor diamond.
The 105 carat gemstone set in the coronation crown of the British royals was mined in the southern Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.
It was seized by the East India Company and became part of the British Crown Jewels when Queen Victoria was proclaimed Empress of India in 1877.
India has made regular requests for its return, but in an interview during his two-day visit to India, Cameron made clear that the diamond was going nowhere.
"What tends to happen with these questions is that if you say yes to one, then you would suddenly find the British Museum empty," he told the local NDTV news channel.
"I know there is a great argument about the original provenance of the Kohinoor diamond, but I am afraid to say it's going to stay put," he said.

Split Second - Xbox360/PC/PS3 As much a Kart racer as an arcade racing title, Split/Second is as predicated on screwing over other competitors as finding a perfect driving line. The premise is simple: as a contestant on the television show Split/Second, you'll race against other drivers on a track designed to be destroyed. Split/Second has the most impressive destruction and explosions yet seen in a racing game. Forget Burnout and Motorstorm; from passenger jets exploding across a tarmac as you race under a wing, to detonating power plant cooling towers, to collapsing train tracks, Split/Second assaults your eyes as soon as you're off the starting line. There's so much going on during races that it's often difficult to navigate the game's courses, though the designers usually do a pretty good job of marking turns and plastering visual cues around the track. While it's occasionally clear that the the environments and vehicles have some fairly simple geometry, Black Rock has done well to heavily stylize the game through lighting and color filters. Each course has a specific palette and theme without feeling monotonous, and the lighting is particularly strong. Split/Second is the closest a racing game has come to approximating the look of popular car films of the last decade or so, and that goes a long way to selling the premise. The visual design and UI are also very slick, though occasionally a little obtuse.

Exhaust systemAn exhaust system is usually tubing used to guide reaction exhaust gases away from a controlled combustion inside an engine or stove. The entire system conveys burnt gases from the engine and includes one or more exhaust pipes. Depending on the overall system design, the exhaust gas may flow through one or more of: Cylinder head and exhaust manifold A turbocharger to increase engine power. A catalytic converter to reduce air pollution. A muffler (North America) / silencer (Europe), to reduce noise. Cat-backCat-back (also cat back and catback) refers to the portion of the exhaust system from the outlet of the catalytic converter to the final vent to open air. This generally includes the pipe from the converter to the muffler, the muffler, and the final length of pipe to open air. HKS Cat Back JDM Cat Back for Nissan skyline R33 Cat-back exhaust systems generally use larger diameter pipe than the stock system. Good systems will have mandrel-bent turns that allow the exhaust gas to exit with as little back pressure as possible. The mufflers included in these kits are often glasspacks, again to reduce back pressure. If the system is engineered more for show than functionality, it may be tuned to enhance the lower sounds that are lacking from high-RPM low-displacement engines. Muffler/SilencerA muffler (or silencer or back box in British English) is a device for reducing the amount of noise emitted by the exhaust on most vehicles. On internal combustion engines, the engine exhaust blows out through the muffler. The internal combustion engine muffler or silencer was originally invented by Milton O. Reeves But you might have seen some cars with loud muffler sound its so common because its no longer used to decrease the sound but let the exhaust gases go without any problem. HKS universal Muffler

Bentley Continental Ultrasports 702 Wheelsandmore, German individual tuner for sports- and supersportscars, has revealed their custom modifications on the Bentley Continental Supersports. With serial power about 630 hp the Bentley Continental Supersports already is the most powerful and fastest sportscoupe ever built by Bentley. But Wheelsandmore thought of much more and developed an ecu upgrade, combined with a handmade, stainless steel exhaust system. With special sportcatalysts, the ecu upgrade and within a remote controlled valve flap system, they increased the power up to 702 bhp and 650 lb-ft of torque. As the Bentley Supersports is not only coming with the biggest engine, but also with one of the biggest carbon-ceramic brakes, measuring 16.54 inches, Wheelsandmore got to use all their experience and know how to construct special wheels for perfect handling and outstanding visual appearance. The 3-piece lightweight wheel set is outfitted with „C-Sport“ model sizing 10,5x21“ with Dunlop Sport Maxx tyres front and rear, wearing an enormous 4,5“ outisde lip in the rear. A special tyre approval allows a giant highspeed at 209 mph. In this case the wheels are painted completely matte black with a red racestripe, but wheelsandmore is able to offer unlimited colour and surface combinations. Finally the suspension can be switched up and down by using an electronic lowering module from Wheelsandmore called „LowMaXX“, which lifts up the car automatically around 0.79 inches at a speed of 44 mph to recover comfort and safety.

Giant predatory whale named for 'Moby-Dick'
LONDON – Scientists have discovered an ancient whale whose bite ripped huge chunks of flesh out of other whales about 12 million years ago — and they've named it after the author of "Moby Dick."
The prehistoric sperm whale grew to between 13 and 18 meters (up to 60 feet) long, not unusual by today's standards. But unlike modern sperm whales, Leviathan melvillei, named for Herman Melville, sported vicious, tusk-like teeth some 36 centimeters (14 inches) long.
The ancient beast evidently dined on other whales, researchers said in Thursday's issue of the journal Nature. They report finding a skull of the beast in a Peruvian desert.
The researchers named it in tribute to the 19th-century author and his classic tale of the great white whale, which includes frequent digressions on natural history that punctuate the action.
"There is a chapter about fossils," one of the paper's authors, Olivier Lambert of the Natural History Museum in Paris, said. "Melville even mentions some of the fossils that I studied for my PhD thesis."
Anthony Friscia, a paleontologist at the University of California, Los Angeles, who wasn't involved in the discovery, said scattered finds of huge fossilized teeth had long hinted at the ancient whale's existence. But without a skull to fit them in, the creature's shape, size and feeding habits remained a mystery.
"The fact that they have found the entire jaw — well, almost the entire skull — is what's pretty unprecedented," he said.
The ancient beasts "were the killer whales of their time, although on a much grander scale," Friscia said. "They were close to the biggest things around."
Friscia said he thought the choice of a name was fantastic.
"You gotta love any time you get a nod to literature in taxonomy," he said. "It was a big whale, so why not?"
