Ek Kudi PanjabanSinger Miss Pooja makes a debut with ‘Panjaban - Love Rules Hearts’ After making a record with 1500 songs and 200 albums, Punjabi singer Miss Pooja, is all set to make a ‘double’ debut in Punjabi movie Panjaban - Love Rules hearts. A presentation of Leo One Production and Catrack Entertainment Limited, the movie is set in the backdrop of rural and urban Punjab. “The movie explores different shades of human relationships in context to present day life,” mentions Param Veer Singh, managing director, Leo One Productions while director Gaurav Trehan throws light on Miss Pooja’s double role. “She plays the characters of twin sisters Gurjot and Gurpreet. The story is based on conflict arising from clash of human values and cultural values and these characters rise above it. The plot has realistic approach with unpredictable situations that make it interesting and entertaining,” he adds. As for Miss Pooja, she feels her characters portray youngsters in today’s time and highlight cultural values that are getting lost in today’s consumerist and mechanical life. Quiz her about her entry into films, and she attributes it all to her ‘fans’. “Lately, I’d been getting a lot of enquiries from my fans on when will I join films, and so here I am,” says the singer, who’ll be seen in the film along with Athar Habib, Harish Verma, Rana Ranbir, Sudesh Lehri and Nirmal Rishi. Lyricist Raj Brar and Gaurav Trehan have lent words to the songs, while Honey Singh has composed the music. Miss Pooja also doubles up as singer with Roshan Prince, Raj Brar, and Honey Singh. Others present at the mahurat shot of the film at the Lake were Athar Habib, Harish Verma, Rana Ranbir, Sudesh Lehri and Nirmal Rishi. Sandeep Shukla, Chairman of Leo One Production (INDIA) Limited was also amongst them.
