CRAPY topic - Spendd time on something useful rather than making religious topics
I think the Mods need to do a little cleaning. Yes these are open forums, but this isn't even a discussion. Its more of an one-sided bashing of religions. It wouldn't have been that bad if it was just one topic and everyone was actually conversing and understanding each other, but no seems like this is just a "I hate your religion/my religion is better" forum now.

Ppl force me to do tht coz main sirf ehi gal kiti c k Why Khalistan topic lock kio kita... but ppl took it otherway so i just want tell them wht realty it... I don't want hurt anyone or any religion....... jo main likheya oh real ch hoya je galat likheya te daso ??????

Religion, Faith, Spirituality / WHAT INDIAN GOVT DID WITH SIKHS....
« on: April 30, 2011, 07:48:59 PM »
  • To interrogate the Sikhs, a round log of wood is placed on their legs, and after putting heavy weight on the log it is rotated on the legs.
  • Chilly powder is sprinkled in the eyes and sex organs of the Sikhs.
  • Sikhs are hung upside down from the ceilings till they became unconscious.
  • The body joints are battered.
  • Electric shocks are administered to the genitals making most of the youth impotent
  • Sikh women, during interrogation, are hurt in their sex organs. Filthy abuse is showered on them.
  • Violence is inflicted on the parents in presence of their sons and daughters and vice-versa.
  • Brothers are forced to beat sisters and vice versa. violence is inflicted on adult girls after stripping them naked and their sex organs are damaged. They are sexually assaulted, pregnancies are terminated of the expectant females.
  • Crotchets are pulled apart.
  • The victims of inhuman violence are made to sit naked in winter, and under the sun in summer, kept sleepless for days in solitary cells.
  • Sikhs are subjected to severe beatings and filthy abuse in the presence of their village folks.
  • Dead bodies of Sikhs killed in fake encounters are not handed over to their parents to conceal marks of excessive violence
  • The state manipulates tailored post mortem reports from the doctors, and burns the dead bodies of the Sikhs after falsely declaring them unclaimed.
  • All sorts of excesses are made on the parents of underground Sikh youths.
  • Indiscriminate atrocities are committed on the parents of the underground youth of the area where some militant action takes place.
  • Atrocities are committed without caring for one's age, health, life or death. If some one luckily survives such brutal excesses, it is well and good But if one dies while under "interrogation", then such a dead body is taken out, pierced with some bullets, and a news item is sent that a dreaded terrorist has been shot dead in an encounter
  • Houses of underground Sikh youths are demolished, their belongings are looted, crops destroyed, their tube well motors are taken away, and they are prevented from sowing crops.
  • Even animals of the families of underground Sikh youth are subjected to police anger. After summoning the families to the police station, villagers are told not to take care of the animals of the families of the underground youth. Generally the animals starve to death.
  • False cases are registered against innocent Sikh youths, later they are let off taking fat bribes.
  • Reporters giving true reports are arrested, an undeclared censorship is imposed on them to stop them from exposing police atrocities.
  • Peaceful protests by the Human rights organizations are prohibited.
  • Press is used to launch vicious and false propaganda against the Sikhs.
  • Hardened criminals are inducted into Sikh movement to help in arresting the Sikh revolutionaries and sabotage the movement. Such criminals are inducted to tarnish the fair name of the Sikh revolutionaries are now called the "Black Cats" in the Punjab. Under SSP Izhar Alam, such criminal gangs were named the "Alam Sena." Besides, such police sponsored bands of criminals also operated under the name of Panthic Tiger Force and "Red Brigade." The director general of the police himself admitted about the "Black Cats" bands. In his interview to the India Today on Sept. 15, 188, KPS Gill had announced without an iota of shame that the security forces in Punjab cannot do anything without the help of secret bands (Black Cats).
  • Thousands of innocent pilgrims, children, females, aged people, who got encircled in the Golden Temple during Operation Bluestar were made to die through starvation and thirst. The whole of Punjab was converted into a vast jail by clamping curfew on the entire area. The army bulletin branded all Amritdhaaree's as terrorists.
  • Indian army desecrated the Gurdwaras and committed such atrocities on the Sikhs that even the soul of Ahmed Shah Abdali might have felt ashamed of.
  • The targets of army guns were none else but religious persons, devotees, pilgrims, ladies, old people, children or some militants whom the Indian government deemed as terrorists.
  • No neutral observer was allowed to take stock of the situation.
  • The injured during the attack on the Golden Temple were subjected to extreme partiality. Whereas every assistance and facility was made available to the injured army personnel, there was no such provision for the wounded belonging to the other side.
  • The number of prisoners taken was rather small. There is ample scope for doubt that the Indian army had thought it better to eliminate the thousands of people seized in the Golden Temple instead of taking them prisoners or having to provide them with medical assistance.
  • No need was felt to perform religious rites for the dead pilgrims and devotees.
  • Before consigning the dead bodies to flames, no effort was made to identify them. No relatives were informed.
  • No dead bodies were handed over to the next of kin. In such a situation only the dead or those wishing to be dead could be present at the last rites.
  • All dead bodies were placed in heaps and then con- signed to flames. IT was never insured that among the dead there could also be some Muslim devotees. To cremate is against the tenets of Islam.
  • No need was felt to give a list of the dead to the Red Cross or any other International Agency
  • Despite such atrocities, no commission was appointed to go into this dark episode. Even the British, the foreign rulers, had cared to appoint the Hunter commission to inquire into the Jallianwalla Massacre which was of a much less magnitude on the other hand. The Indian government, on the other hand, took all steps to hide the excesses of the army.

Knowledge / Real attitude of Hindus towards Sikhs....
« on: April 30, 2011, 07:46:55 PM »
After the British left India, Sikhs were fired from their jobs and Hindus were hired. Then Indian constitution was written but Sikhs refused to sign it in the house of parliament  because under Amendment (Dhara) 25 it declared Sikhism as part of Hinduism. When Sikhs talked to Nehru about their rights, he said "The time has changed now. If you wanted to live freely then why didn't you demand for a separate country from British?" Look at some more quotes that explain the real attitude of Hindus towards Sikhs.
" To preserve the unity of India, if we have to eradicate 2-kror [ 20 millions ] Sikhs, we will do so. (Balram Jhakhar, a colleague of P.V. Narsimharao, the former Indian Prime Minister)
" The Sikhs are a lawless people and a menace to the law abiding Hindus ... The [Government] should take strict measures against them." (Pandit Nehru, Indian Prime Minister, on Sikhs)
"Kya main taqat dushman (the enemy -the Sikhs) ke haath main de dun (How can I entrust power into the hands of the enemies)." (Jawahar Lal Nehru, 1961)

" I hate the very physique of a Sikh because of the turban and beard. "
(Vallabh Bhai Patel, late Indian top politician)

"I don't give a damn if the Golden Temple and whole of Amritsar are destroyed, I want Bhindranwale dead." (Indira Gandhi, Indian Prime Minister, communicating with Gen. Vaidya during "Operation Blue Star")
"We have broken the back of the Sikhs and we will get them elsewhere." (M. M. K. Wali, Indian Foreign Secretary, June 7, 1984, Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, Radio 740, As It Happens)
"Let us teach these bastards (the Sikhs) a lesson." (Rajiv Gandhi, October 31, 1984)
"... a threat to the villagers that all males would be killed and their women taken to army camps to breed a new race if there was any militant activity in their village." (Brig. R. P. Sinha, Indian Army, March 8, 1991)
"You do not know the might of our armed forces. We will eliminate 10,000 Sikh youths and the world will know nothing about it." (Chander Shekhar, former Prime Minister of India, CK, 21st October, 1991)

News Khabran / What Rahul told US envoy about Hindu terrorism
« on: April 30, 2011, 07:30:29 PM »
Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi had told United States ambassador Timothy Roemer that the growth of 'radicalised Hindu groups', which create religious tensions in India, could pose a bigger threat to the country than activities of groups like Lashkar-e-Tayiba.
According to a secret US diplomatic cable from New Delhi released by WikiLeaks, the Congress leader shared his views with Roemer on a range of political topics, social challenges and electoral issues for the Congress party in the next five years.
The cable contained details of Gandhi's conversation with the envoy at a luncheon hosted by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh at his residence in July 2009 in honour of visiting Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
"Responding to the ambassador's query about Lashkar-e-Tayiba's activities in the region and immediate threat to India, Gandhi said there was evidence of some support for the group among certain elements in India's indigenous Muslim community," the cable notes.

News Khabran / India: Rise Of Hindu Terrorism
« on: April 30, 2011, 07:11:09 PM »
“It’s not Muslims, but Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) activists who planned and executed the bomb blasts at Malegaon in 2006, on the Samjhauta Express in 2007, in Ajmer Sharif in 2007 and Mecca Masjid in 2007,”confessed Swami Aseemanand, the main accused of 2007 Samjhauta Express blast in front of a magistrate at a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) court. RSS, the Hindu radical group of Aseemanand is the spiritual parent of BJP. This confession has substantially bolstered Pakistan’s point of view that Hindu extremist outfits carry out false flag terrorist acts for which Muslim entities of India and neighbouring countries are promptly blamed under a well thought out scheme.
Swami’s confession is only a confirmation about the open secret about phenomenal rise of homegrown Hindu terrorism in India. According to India’s Tehelka magazine, which has obtained a copy of Swami’s 42-page confession, Swami told his interrogators that attacks on Muslim places were in response to attacks by Islamist militants.
India has been dragging its feet on Samjhota train related investigations since long. Pakistan is likely to raise the extradition demand of Swami and others following India’s refusal to share the details of the Samjhota train-bombing probe with Pakistan. Demand for extradition may come up during the Indo-Pak foreign secretary level talks in Bhutan during the first week of February. Pakistani foreign office has already summoned the Indian envoy and asked him to hand over the findings of the bombing investigation. So far India has been dilly dallying that “it was premature” to provide results of the train bombing probe to Pakistan, while drumming up its campaign that Pakistan should quickly bring to justice the masterminds of Mumbai attacks of 2008. Islamabad has also listed other bombing incidents involving the false flag actions by Hindu radicals, like Gujarat, Malegoan, Mecca Msjid in Hyderabad, Ajmer Sharif etc. Initially, Pakistan was blamed for these incidents.
Shamsul Islam, Associate Professor, Department of Political Science, Satyawati College, University of Delhi has recently commented: ‘The culprit of Samjhota Express dresses up in the full Hindu saffron regalia, and is followed to and from places by his band of marauders who carry the Hindu Trident and yell Anti-Muslim slogans. Colonel Prohit dresses the same way, and is treated like a hero in Bharat. Pakistan will be demanding the extradition of Hindu terrorists…who were involved in the 2007 bloody bombing of the Pakistan-bound Samjhota Express train that killed 68 innocent people, 42 of which were Pakistan nationals…the 2008 blast in the town of Malegaon killed seven people and left more than 100 injured. A female Hindu priest, Sadhwi Pragya Singh Thakur, and a serving Indian army officer were among 11 people who were arrested in connection with the attack…’.
The Indian Central Bureau of Investigations (CBI) and the Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) had hastily blamed these terror acts on the Lashkar-e-Tayaba (LeT) and the Bangladesh-based Harkatul Jehadul Islami (HUJI). Scores of innocent Indian Muslim youth were arrested and brutally tortured by the Indian security establishment. To make things worse, the RSS and the Hindu Mahasabah rioted in Malegaon, Ajmer and Panipat, beat up Muslim youth, set Muslim businesses on fire, and looted the homes of Muslims. A number of Mulims still languish in Indian jails, blamed for the crimes committed by the RSS.
In Mecca Masjid blast, 14 people died and as a knee jerk reaction, initially around 80 Muslims were detained for questioning and 25 arrested. The investigation continued on this line until CBI found the evidence that mobile phone-detonated explosives packed in metal tubes were similar to the Ajmer blasts. The bombs contained a deadly mix of RDX and TNT, in proportions often used by the Indian army. CBI director Ashwani Kumar told the media that an activist named Sunil Joshi “played a key role in orchestrating the Ajmer blast and a set of mobile SIM cards that had been used in activation of the bomb-triggers in the Mecca Masjid blast was used again in the Ajmer blast”.
National Investigating Agency (NIA) has filed a case in a court accusing 11 Hindus and members of the ultra-right-wing Sanathan Sanstha, of masterminding and executing the October 2009 Margao blast. Initial suspicion and interrogation of suspected Muslim men, some believed to be members of “sleeper cells of jehadi groups” turned out to be just an allegation.
In Ajmer Sharif  Blast in 2007 ,3 people died. In 2010, Rajasthan ATS arrested Devendra Gupta, Chandrashekhar and Vishnu Prasad. Initial arrests of Muslims linked to HuJI and LeT proved to be wrong.  During interrogation, Colonel Prohit confessed to ATS investigators that he had provided the RDX in the Mecca Masjid blasts. A human right activist and Mumbai advocate Mihir said, “It is believed that CBI is seeking directions from the home ministry to see the Ajmer, Mecca Masjid, Malegaon and other blasts in conjunction after there has been no conclusive evidence of the involvement of Islamic groups”.
The RSS gang is often out in the street for whipping up frenzy against Muslims. Latest craze of these terrorists is to unfurl the Indian flag in Srinagar on January 26, 2011. BJP and its RSS components are so zealous about hoisting the tricolour in Srinagar that they have ignored the advice of the state Chief Minister that any such attempt would create serious tensions in the IHK, because freedom loving Kashmiri’s have a tradition to hoist black flags on the Indian Republic day.
Pattern of this terrorism is of a unique kind. It is not by the have-nots or underdog minorities against the statue quo. This brand of terrorism is practiced by the Hindu majority against the minorities. Extremist Hindu parties maintain de-facto militant wings under various brand names. Atrocities against the poor and lower class Hindus, the Muslims and the people from other sects and beliefs, continue under a state of denial by the Indian politicians and government machinery. Some Indian writers like Arunduta Roy, officials like former IG police SM Mushrif and a few human rights organizations keep raising their voices despite prevalent coercive environment. As per Wikileaks, Rahul Gandhi believes that Hindu radicals might pose a greater threat than Islamist militants.

News Khabran / India must face up to Hindu Terriosm
« on: April 30, 2011, 07:05:14 PM »
For far too long, the enduring response of the Indian establishment to Hindu nationalists has rarely surpassed mild scorn. Their organised violent eruptions across the country – slaughtering Muslims, Sikhs and Christians, destroying their places of worship, cutting open pregnant wombs – never seemed sufficient enough to the state to cast them as a meaningful threat to India’s national security.
But the recently leaked confession of a repentant Hindu priest, Swami Aseemanand, confirms what India’s security establishment should have uncovered: a series of blasts between 2006 and 2008 were carried out by Hindu outfits. The attacks targeted a predominantly Muslim town and places of Muslim worship elsewhere. Their victims were primarily Muslim. Yet the reflexive reaction of the police was to round up young Muslim men, torture them, extract confessions and declare the cases solved.
Pundits now conduct cautious enquiries on television. Does this revelation mean India is now under attack by "Hindu terrorism"? But to treat this as a new phenomenon is to overlook the bulky corpus of terrorist violence in India that has its roots in explicitly Hindu-political grievances. Why is the attack on a Jewish centre in Mumbai by Pakistani gunmen an example of "Islamic terrorism", but the slaughter of a thousand Muslims by sword-wielding Hindus in Gujarat in 2002 not proof of "Hindu terrorism", particularly when the purpose of the violence was to establish an Hindu state in India? How do we describe attacks on churches, the kidnappings of pastors, the burning to death of a missionary? What do we make of the war-cry pehle kasai, phir isai: first the butchers (Muslims), then the Christians? What has prompted this debate over "Hindu terrorism" is not Aseemanand’s confession: it is the fact that, in carrying out their violence, his accomplices appropriated methods which, in popular imagination, have become associated exclusively with Islamic terrorism. Detonating bombs in crowded areas: isn’t that what Muslims do?
It is when you look at the reactions to non-Hindu extremism that you absorb how strongly majoritarian assumptions inform the state and society’s conduct in India. In 2002, the Indian government banned the radical Muslim group Simi (Students’ Islamic Movement of India) citing the group’s charter, which seeks to establish sharia rule in India, and the terror charges some of its members were facing. But the Hindu radical outfit RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh or the National Volunteer Corps) remains open for business – even though it campaigns, very openly, for a Hindu state in India, and its members incite and perpetrate violence against Muslim and Christian minorities. Mahatma Gandhi’s assassin was a member of the RSS, as are Aseemanand and his confreres. To get an idea of which of the two groups poses a more immediate threat to India, consider this: the government that banned Simi was headed by the BJP, the political wing of the RSS.
The principal cause of Hindu radicalism, much like its Muslim counterpart in Pakistan, is the partition of India in 1947. The departing British hacked India apart to accommodate the Muslim League’s demand for an exclusive homeland for the subcontinent’s Muslims – and so, the Hindu nationalist logic runs, the territory that remained should logically be identified as the land of Hindus. If Pakistan’s Muslim majoritarianism crystallised around the bogey of "Hindu raj", the Hindu nationalist project thrives by casting the burden of partition on India’s Muslim minorities – fifth columnists whose coreligionists tore India apart by claiming, in spite of a millennium-long sojourn in India, to be foreigners by virtue of their faith.
For all the saffron calumny, it is impossible to find a community more emphatically committed to India than its Muslims. India’s Hindus never had to make a choice. The Muslims did. Consider what an ordinary Muslim family in 1947 would have had to deal with: terrified by the violence that the partition had unleashed, their coreligionists were fleeing in the millions to Pakistan; Hindu and Sikh fanatics were actively seeking out Muslims for slaughter and rape; the possibility of being betrayed by neighbours and friends was far from remote. Sardar Patel, the second most powerful functionary in the Indian government, was openly hostile to Muslims – hostility which no doubt would have been seen by many Hindus as tacit endorsement of their actions. Amidst all this, the sole authoritative source of reassurance would have been the distant pledges of a better tomorrow by Jawaharlal Nehru. The Muslims who remained, who refused to vacate the hell that was India despite the blandishments of paradise next door in Pakistan, affirmed their faith in India with their lives.
After all this, it is staggering that the Hindu right gets away so easily by routinely humiliating Indian Muslims. From demographics to diet, personal laws to places of worship, Muslims are suspect in everything they do. Adding a dash of foreign authority, glamour and fuel to this unbridled bigotry is the lavatorial "scholarship" of frustrated European converts to Hinduism such as François Gautier and Koenraad Elst. Misfits in their own societies, they have flourished by exploiting communal tensions in a miserably poor country. What the Muslims did to Hindus was worse than the Jewish Holocaust explains one, while the other warns Hindus that they are being outbred by Muslims. The JNU historian Tanika Sarkar was perhaps right in identifying "penis envy and anxiety about emasculation" among the principal reasons for anti-Muslim bigotry.
The Indian state has failed appallingly in its obligations to Muslim citizens. There are 150 million Muslims in India, but as the government’s own figures show, only 4% are graduates, 5% have public employment, an overwhelming majority remain locked out of public institutions, and their access to government loans and education is severely restricted. If this institutional exclusion should breed resentment, and the resentment produce violence, no one will hesitate to call it another instance of Islamic terrorism. But when self-pitying Hindus massacre minorities and detonate bombs in the midst of Muslim crowds, we are expected to be polite. No, let us call it what it actually is: Hindu terrorism.
