Handling of the "reported post" is miserable!!
There should be a feedback loop.. So that, if someone report a post or user... The mod will notify the user what is being done to the reported post....
Let say the message is reported... and the mod think that the message is fine. The mod has to feedback the user why and what is ok with the message.
- If the feedback loop is not generated, noone of the user will use the feature... I saw lot of mod/admin mentioning this that Report the post... But if you dont feedback - noone wont be bothered.
- Promotions should be based on number of reported post - rather than 1000 post or good replies (which is again reference based ... a good reply could be a bad reply in someone others opinion)... or mod admin ass kissing - So that you can encourage users to use the feature.
