Biggest problem to me looks like bridging the data from the uC to the database. Don't even have a clue where to start on that one.

Ah see... you were the target of the question. :p The reason I posted here is because I would be able to get an answer in normal english not some mashed up technical garbage that i'd  have to go research on to understand.

I've worked with a little bit of everything (access, c++ and microcontrollers), and I know I can catchup on things pretty quickly, fingers crossed. I'm going to assume that www.punjabi-bhangra.com is your website as well, how are you sorting all the music? Personal server?

I've worked with microcontrollers but never tried the wireless ones. I can most likely get the information that I want to gather out of these things, and even get the transmitters to talk. Just changing that information into english and sorting/storing it, is going to be a bitch. Just was hoping that you had come across something like this.

I guess I'll attack the database portion first.

Just wondering if i wanted to get into learning databases... what would be some most popular platform... access, db2, SQL...etc.. and say if one day i wanted to make a website to pull stuff off of this database... which scripting language would be the most useful?
