ok my opinion ive held as long as i can remember and its never changed and never will
i love the sikh culture, respect it and agree with everything it states (meaning guru granth sahib)
i hate our punjabi culture ...in my eyes punjabi culture totally defies the sikh scriptures and is very hypocritical....

i would suggest u kiss up to ur mom and be nice
and stay with ur parents
because if u don't:
1. u'll have to find a place to live
2. u'll have to work ( ps if u already do work ull have to work more so u can pay rent!!!!!! ohhh and pay ALOT of other bills)
3. soon ull be starting college.......which means ALOT moreeeeeeeeee billssssss
4. ull lose ur social life
stay with ur parentssssssssssss no matter wat
unless she actually really kicks u outta the house and
u have no choice but to leave :(
soooooooooo ...just a friendly advice STAY WITH UR PARENTS
i dont know abt all ur "kiwi" stuff but ya
and maybe u should look into ur relationship with ur mom
and try to be nice to her
do lil things for her aside from ur chores
to make her happy
it'll pay off in the long run
