Let me explain what is the issue.

Right now I have to Post a Whole topic .. If I add an event to the calender .. But I want the calender just to act as a reminder rather than forcing me to add a topic for a event that will happen in lets say 6 months ..
I mean Why Should I post a Topic for "Parash Ustav of Guru Gobind Singh Ji" right now but instead the calender should act as a reminder that ok Parash Ustav is approaching..

I hope I make some sense now :|

I know how to add the event you an even directly do that on the calender where it says "Post Event" .. But the problem it show on the main page .. But the event dont show on the Calender - So basically the event is there but you dont know which the event is going to happen

My plan was to add all the Sikh events to the calender but the calender is not showing on which day the event will happen (even though it will show as an upcoming event)

Do I make sense or was that too much BSing .. : :

And Can I get access to edit calendar .. Or we dont have that option?

Well I am thinking of getting rid of updates from Gup Shup and Fun times from the main Page
Acctually already replaced Fun time with Lok virsa ..

Now Please Suggest:

Should i get rid of Gup Shup and Shayeri and just stick with the following

- Intro
- Knowledge
- Lok Virsa
- News


Rather than
- Gup Shup (too much junk posted in this section)
- Fun Time (useless)
- Shayeri (too many updates comes from this section.. So we might keep it but every day you just see the updates from this section.. Seems like only this active)
- Intro (i dont mind this one)
- New (good one too)
