Highlight of the game is probably Ray Allen struggling through the whole game. I think if he had made any of those shots, this game would've turned differently.

Not really. Way too many foul calls. Kobe, Ray, Garnett all playing sub-level basketball with so many fouls. The other funny thing was when the prime-time TV accidentally broadcasted Nate saying "Myyyy nigga".
But the Celtics are all too common for doing this. There was a game earlier in the year where KG got caught on camera yelling at Rasheed: "We gonna bully these niggas!"

I wonder how old that map in Jhanda Amli’s second post is. If you look at the little key at the bottom explaining the religions there is a trishul for Hindus, a Crescent and Star for Muslims, a Swastika for the Buddhists and a Triangle for the Pre-Historic folk (ha ha).
According to that map the Sikhs did/do not exist. How odd; I could have swore the Sikhs ruled the place for many a year.
The map doesn't have a year printed on it. And since it is of Punjab, the place which dates back even before Sikhism started, it could still be accurate to those times. BTW, the map is from punjabonline.com. I know the owner of the website (he's a respected Sikh person). I don't think he would be trying to create a bias. I could be wrong. PS: Lots of literature about Punjab is written in English.

Sometimes to send the message across, you have to change your way of expression. That's what's going on with Sikh rappers.
Otherwise, I'm not that into the "Punjabi" rapping.

And the celtics come back with series tied now at 1-1.
Highlight of the game: Ray Allen making 7 consecutive 3-pointers.

I think this was telecasted on ABC Channel the day after the Lakers/Celtics game. I missed it.
But this isn't the first time Indian Americans have won a spelling bee. The list is long. I don't know what it is about Indians that make them so good at spelling bees lol.

Sorry Grenade Singh, with respect I feel you miss my point and I believe you didn’t understand where I am coming from on this. Secondly you simply cannot compare the Guru’s Jis’ sacrifices to that of Bhagat Singh. My point is that Bhagat Singh was sacrificed by others and was used as a political pawn; whereas the sacrifice made by our Guru Jis was something different. I also would like to point out that I believe in Shaheedi and acknowledge those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for their beliefs and freedom.
So I am afraid I have to make clear again that the two sacrifices do not compare at all.
Now, its 3.00AM here in London. I am off to get some sleep. But I will continue this with you tomorrow if you are around. Take care.
I only gave Guru ji's example to clarify the point that sacrifices are needed sometimes. I have no intention of comparing Bhagat Singh to Guru ji. While I have read some ill things about Gandhi and his beliefs (from his quotes), I am also a believer of non-violence. Most westerns connect non-violence with Gandhi immediately, whereas I've learned about the path of non-violence from our Guru ji. thanks for adding that Kudrat ji Different people say different things. Just think yourself that why a person will support the british execution who himself believes in non violence. I have great respect for both of them , they had their role in the freedom . There was no way you could have stopped the partition because british had their divide and rule policy which gave muslim leader some hopes about their own nation. Oh well what you can do now. thanks for the topic appreicate it
Gandhi did not believe in capital punishment. He once said, "I cannot in all conscience agree to anyone being sent to the gallows. God alone can take life because He alone gives it." But when you say "There was no way", I think you're indirectly saying that the path that Bhagat Singh and other freedom fighters took was doomed to fail, which I don't think it was.

Sometimes powerful sacrifices must be made for the furthering of a cause. If you don't believe it with Bhagat Singh. You have to believe it with Guru Arjan Dev ji and Guru Tegh Bahadur ji.
