Eh duniya ton ehna kuch na mang. There's people that doubt what Guru Gobind Singh ji did. And some that believe only believe in one of the guru's philosophy. You can't expect too much from people. Just keep good company (sangat) and not let the doubters get to your heart. To the general public, Bhindranwale was a terrorist because that's what the government told them, and the news media was heavily censored. You cannot expect people to believe some eye witness accounts only.

I have to agree with Kismat on this one. I don't understand the sentiments when people say stuff like:
"Satguru Nanak aaja, tenu duniya pukardi, tere hath vich chabi hai daata sare sansar di..." -- lal chand yamla jatt song
"Je Bhindranwala vapas ajave..."
Eh janam ik var milda sareya nu. Kisey nu vapas insaan janam vich bulauna koi changi ardaas nahi. Sarbat da bhala mango, te Khalse panth di charhdi kala da.
I respect Bhindranwale for standing up to the Indian government and fighting for the rights of Sikhs. It was needed in those times. He was creating awareness amongst the youth, that like today, was getting lost. One of the things about Bhindranwale's father was that they had something called a "traveling library", which would go from pind to pind and teach people about Waheguru. You have to understand that you cannot just keep fighting endlessly. You must establish a clear goal. Right now, our goal should be to educate our fellow Sikhs to help them lead a life of Sikhi, rather than waste away in nashey/patitpuna/misinformation.
