You've been an ideally mature person on PJ for a long time Kudrat, I feel that you know much more than me about respecting everyone. But I feel that you've tangled up in this situation. It is very easy to get worked up on one topic (emotionally), but we cannot forget all the work that noxious has put in to make PJ what it is today. There is a lot that the non-staff users do not see (as you already know) that happens behind the scenes, so nobody should dismiss her work.

What does this have to do with making fun of any religion? It's only talking about Sikhism and spreads no "knowledge" about "making fun" of any other religion.

The connection is never made, but I think this is what the words mean...
Most people here are Sikhs, so the point is that our Gurus (our role models) gave up their lives to protect other people's religions (i.e. so they can practice their religion freely), so we must not make fun of (or insult, etc) any other religion. We must show the same respect, we must be the defenders of all faiths, rather than just our own.
