Jidda Vehlejatt ne post keeta, Diwali sikhan layi Bandhi Chorh Diwas hai, jado Guru Hargobind ji 52 rajeya nu apne naal Gwalior de jail kila vicho chut ke aaye si.
Diwali barey Guru Granth Sahib ji vich heth likheya shabad hai Bhai Gurdaas ji da Panna 19.
dheevaalee dhee raath dheevae baaleeani|| thaarae jaath sanaath a(n)bar bhaaleeani|| fulaa(n) dhee baagaath chun chun chaaleeani|| theerathh jaathee jaath nain nihaaleeani|| har cha(n)dhouree jhaath vasaae ouchaaleeani|| guramukh sukh fal dhaath sabadh samhaaleean ||6||
Lamps are lighted in the night of divali festival. Stars of different variety appear in the sky. In the gardens the flowers are there which are selectively plucked. The pilgrims going to pilgrimage centres are also seen. The imaginary habitats have been seen coming into being and vanishing. All these are momentary, but the Gurmukhs with the help of the Word nourish the gift of the pleasure fruit.(6)

Anyone serious about wanting to learn Gurbani can pick up a gutka for 100 rupees, or learn it on Internet with translations. People go to Harmandir Sahib to savour experience, not to learn 5 lines while they are there, or to watch a super-size TV.
You suggest 100 rupees gutka? Really? You want a barrier to access gurbani (gareeb 100 rupaiye kithon leyave). You think poor people or anybody for that matter is going to buy a gutka? This is what the brahmins did back in the day, make the knowledge of God inaccessible. Guru Granth Sahib is for the people without any cost of entry. We should strive to open up the knowledge to anybody and anyone. Anyone serious about wanting to learn Gurbani can pick up a gutka for 100 rupees, or learn it on Internet with translations. People go to Harmandir Sahib to savour experience, not to learn 5 lines while they are there, or to watch a super-size TV.
Not everybody has internet. Not everybody knows how to get translations. People go to Harmandir Sahib to savour experience, not to learn 5 lines while they are there, or to watch a super-size TV.
Harmandir sahib is not a picnic spot, it's not a tourism place. Those 5 lines of Gurbani have the power of transforming our lives. This is why everyone thinks Sikhs are dumb.
Are you serious?

Sat Sri Akal,
Stop giving your id passwords to ravi gill. Teriya dono ids mein ban keetiya, kiyonki ravi gill ohna ids ton aunda PJ utte te ethey lokan nu galt bolda. Teri vi koi bhen/saheli/maa hovegi, tu kudiyan de pakhon kiyon ni sochda. Ravi Gill PJ utte nangiya kudiya diya photoya post karda, ohnu kiyon ni samjhonda?

At 81 Fauja Singh went to London to stay with son in what he thought were the restive years in his life. But little did he know that he would soon find a passion that would drive him out on the pebbled streets of the British capital! 'The Turbaned Tornado' as he is called, this 100 year old man is running with a vengeance. The oldest marathon runner in the world, Fauja Singh has run in over 10 marathons in the world and has broken 12 titles in World Championships. The unquenchable quest of this centenarian was celebrated by Adidas with an advert featuring

Full article: http://www.thepostgame.com/blog/good-sports/201110/100-year-old-marathoner-runs-late-loved-ones-and-all-usLiving to 100 is a goal, a privilege, and, let's face it, a nearly impossible task. It's a destination few can reach or even imagine. But for one of us, it's the starting line. Fauja Singh, born in 1911, ran an entire marathon in Toronto over the weekend. That's amazing enough. He did it in 8 hours, 25 minutes, and 17 seconds. That's even more remarkable. But consider that Singh started running competitively only after losing his wife and son 11 years ago, at age 89. When an old man loses a spouse or a child, many around him worry that he will soon give up on life. After all, what is the day worth without the companion to whom you have devoted every day since you can remember? What's there to look forward to? Singh found something, and he put his whole heart into it. He didn't want to simply make it to 100. He didn't settle for a piece of cake and a nap. He wanted to break a record. And he did. Singh wasn't just the first centenarian ever to run 26.2 miles. He beat five other runners. He's now in the Guinness Book of World Records. And he did it with a sense of humor, wearing a T-shirt that read "Sikhs in the City." This isn't his first marathon, either. He's completed 10, running a 6:41 at age 89, a 5:40 at 92, and a stunning sub-five-hours at 94. Only days before his historic feat, he accomplished something just as incredible: He set eight world age group records in one day -- running the 100 meters in 23.14, the 200 meters in 52.23, the 400 metres in 2:13.48, the 800 meters in 5:32.18, the 1500 meters in 11:27.81, the mile in 11:53.45, the 3000 meters in 24:52.47 and the 5000 meters in 49:57.39. Singh's story, which started on a farm in the Punjab, has captivated many around the globe, who refer to him as "The Turbaned Tornado." Now he wants to participate in the torch relay for the London Olympics next year. "His will cannot be captured," biographer Khushwant Singh told the TV show Amazing Indians. "It cannot be trapped." Singh has said, "I won't stop running until I die." Words to live by.
