Everyone gets acne in a different manner, etiology is different for everyone. Teenagers usually acquire it secondary to hormonal changes. Acne is related to the menstrual cycle as well. The main reason is imbalance in hormones and entrapment of bacteria in the skin pores.
- Use noncomedogenic products. Drink plenty of water. I can get into the medicinal philosophy of this, if people want more info, let me know.
Tip - Crush Advil to make a paste and do a spot break-out treatment. It will reduce inflammation/redness. However, may dry out the localized area. Toothpaste does the same thing.
