WAHEGURU JI KA KHALSA WAHEGURU JI KI FATEH
Guprinder Ji
That is an interesting post and of course philosophical too. We can all state that Waheguru Ji works in mysterious ways but when all is said and done I do believe that Waheguru Ji intended us to help our selves. But if this meeting has helped you then one can only say ‘good’.
But, alas, “Nanak Dukhiya Sab Sansar”
So what help do we need? I say as long as we stay true to Waheguru Ji and as long as we stay true to our selves we will be in Chardi Kala. When I was young my father had a brass plaque made and screwed to the inside of our front door so that we could see it every time we left home to go out. It simply said “100%, nothing less will do”, which brings me back to the need to help our selves.
Of course, that does not mean we should forget the needy. After all Sikhism is one of the most caring faiths in the world. The proof of that is evident in ‘Guru ka Langar’.

why is the above reply incorrect? [/quote]
Indeed noXious Ji. I always thought the the hand has one more bone than the foot. I do believe Kudrat Ji is correct in stating the hand has 27 bones.
There are 14 phalanges; proximal, medial (all except the thumb), and distal in the fingers.
5 metacarpals, I, II, III, IV, & V in the hand.
8 carpals: scaphoid, lunate, triquetrum, pisiform, hamate, capitate, trapezoid, and trapezium in the wrist.
Whereas the foot has seven tarsal bones: talus, calcaneus, cuniforms I, II, & III, cuboid, and navicular. Then there are five metatarsals I-IV, The great toe has two phalanges, and the other four toes have three each. So that's 7+5+2+12=26 total bones in the foot.
There is also a tiny sesamoid bone in the great toe, but this is usually not counted
This leads me to believe there might be a touch of senility setting in with the old woman. =D> :blah:

2 guys in the beauty section
Make that 3!Beauty tips for all the girls; don’t overdo the makeup. Keep it simple keep it subtle. Guys really dislike it if the makeup looks as if it has been slapped on with a trowel. Another thing, perfume; keep that subtle too. There is nothing worse than being overwhelmed by a perfume that just encourages a barnstorming headache. That goes for men too; cheap aftershave will only make her run for cover.

They say many human remains have been found in the wall; so, I guess, along with the sticky rice all the men buried in and under the wall probably have an effect too. X_X

That's actually understandable considering its the one of the only, and the most prestigious universities in UK.
Well there is also Cambridge University, Edinburgh, St Andrews (Prince William attended university). London School of Economics (India's Manmohan Singh was a lecturer there) Imperial College and University College London (UCL).
As to Oxford being the most prestigious university in the UK one could argue that it is probably the most prestigious in the world with immense history.
