Knowledge / Vegetarian VS Non Vegetarian
« on: July 01, 2010, 09:30:33 PM »
Lets have debate over vegetarian and non vegetarian diet.

There is absolutely no question that the average person does best health-wise by consuming a mixed diet that is as fresh, and hopefully as unprocessed as possible.
But some of us r vegetarain and some r non vegetarian but we have some reasons why we prefer particular food or why not??
in this post, My vote is for Vegetarian Food and I have reasons for this preference. First of all , its religious factors and second is due to environmental factors not whole family but my mother is vegetarian so this cud be becoz of mom's influence over my personality.and lastly, non vegetarain food is anti planet and anti animal rights.

Our bodysystem is just not  built  to consume non vegetarian food.reasons r
1.If Nature intended you to be a non-vegetarian, she would have equipped you with claws, and sharp pointed teeth to tear into any flesh; given you acidic saliva to digest the animal protein; a round stomach with the capacity to produce plenty of hydrochloric acid, fewer intestines to shorten the process of digesting the meat so that you could expel it before it putrefies inside; a liver that could dispel more uric acid than it does.something like this:)

2.Instead, we have hands with moveable fingers that can delicately pluck and peel fruits; blunt teeth and molars that crush and grind; alkaline saliva to digest plant protein; a stomach that produces small quantities of hydrochloric acid; more intestines that hold on to the food and give time for your smart cells to extract the required nutrients, a liver that can expel small amounts of uric acid.

3.If you find one of them is suffering from gout, you can be sure he is a heavy red-meat eater. You can almost bet that he eats salami or sausages for breakfast, a steak for lunch and meat for dinner.

4.Meat is so high in indigestible fat content that it clogs up your arteries and can lead to a heart problem. It gives you no energy because though it contains carbohydrates, its also has undigestible animal protein and a high content of fat. That's the reason you feel heavy after a meaty meal. In fact, your smart cells sweat working overtime to digest the meat and use up all the carbohydrates and energy in knocking the meat into digestible shape.

5.Meat also has neither fibre nor healthy plant protein. The animal protein is tough on your smart cells and turns toxic - turning your insides into mess. You get indigestion, bad breath and a heartburn. The toxies load your immune system and also make you vulnerable to disease.

6.Lastly, look at your mental make-up. When you see a plump goat, do you get that predatory gleam in your eye that makes you stalk and kill it? ofcourse, u dont.

For, the time taken by the body to digest and absorb various foods is:
13 hours - raw vegetables, fruits, sprouts.

24 hours - cooked vegetables and pulses.

72 hours - non-vegetarian and fried food.

I think theses r enough reasons to to convert  all PJ users  into vegetarian  :pagel: I welcome all other ideas too Plz share..

Religion, Faith, Spirituality / Re: Do we need "khalistan"?
« on: July 01, 2010, 08:25:46 PM »
I have read these kind of questions many times but i really liked the responses in this blog..
If we divide something we can never be successful this is the rule of life. As we can see these dayz, mostly there r nuclear families in society and family members suffer from so many stress disorders but  this was not situation in past when joint families were more prevalent.Same way, India is our family and we will never be happy or successful after partition.
I love my India and All of its states. here i have lots of South Indian friends and love their company and we r together becoz we r Indians.

Lok Virsa Pehchaan / Re: History Of Roopnagar
« on: July 01, 2010, 12:29:45 AM »
vase Roopnagar ik hor Divison aa Punjab di jehnu Powadh kehnde ne ya fer Poadh

                                          POWADH
Poadh is a vast region, consisting of all of and Panchkula district in Haryana and Chandigarh and a big area of south east Malwa, consisting of Patiala, Mohali, and Ropar districts. It had its own poets even at Akbar's court such as Mai Banno of Banur and more recently Bhagat Asa Ram Baidwan of Sohana.

Puadh or Powadha is a region of Punjab and parts of Haryana between the Satluj and Ghaggar rivers. The part lying south, south-east and east of Rupnagar adjacent to Ambala District (Haryana) is Powadhi. The Powadh extends from that part of the Rupnagar District which lies near Satluj up to the Ghaggar river in the east, which separates the states of Punjab and Haryana. Parts of Fatehgarh Sahib district, and parts of Patiala districts like Rajpura are also part of Powadh. The language is spoken over a large area in present Punjab as well as Haryana. In Punjab, Kharar, Kurali, Ropar, Nurpurbedi, Morinda, Pail, and Rajpura are the areas where the Puadhi language is spoken and the area itself is claimed as including from Pinjore, Kalka to Bangar area in Hisar district which includes even Nabha and Patiala in it.

Sada ilaka aaji Special tah hona hi c..vase kade gor karna apni Prabhleen jyadatar powadhi language boldi aa
pehla assi Ropar District vich hi c Mohali tah hune baniya..
