 The Government of Maharashtra has opened the State Central Library Digital Centre in Mumbai, located in the Andheri East district. A 3-storey facility, the new library houses digital content in CD/DVD-ROMs as well as various reference and academic books, all of which are available for free to the general public. Each floor gives access to different types of learning – the ground floor is meant for children and senior citizens, housing a multimedia computer with digital academic material, movies, and games, as well as books in Hindi, Marathi, and English. There apparently is also an Xbox360! The first floor is meant for the general public, and consists of over 200 CD/DVDs, a legal database of DELNET, Manuputra, and the British Council Library, apart from 48 internet-enabled and well-specced computers. The second floor is meant for reading, and also contains its fair share of books. The third floor houses a cafeteria and an AV room. Certainly one of the first of its kind in India, the State Central Library Digital Centre will hopefully pave the path for more such centres across the country. It is no secret that Google supports Linux, considering that their two operating systems, Android and Chrome OS are both Linux-based, however they have always been a little slow in bringing their applications to the Linux platform. Google Earth was late to come for Linux, Picasa for Linux is too lags behind the Windows release, and SketchUp is just not available yet.
For those who have yet not tried it out, Google offers a plugin to enable voice and video chatting straight from your browser, using the chat functionality in GMail. However, up till now you needed to be running Windows or MacOS in order to make use of the plugin. GTalk itself is not available for Linux.
Now while Windows has had support for voice and video chatting for almost two years, it is only now coming to Linux, and that too only for those running Debian-based distributions such as Ubuntu – although an RPM-based version is on the way.

ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ "ਬਾਬਾ ਜੀ" ਦੇ ਡੇਰੇ ਤੇ ਆ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ। ਇਹਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋ ਜਿਆਦਾਤਰ ਲੋਕ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਸਨ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਤੇ ਉਹ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦੀ ਦਾਤ ਲੈਣ ਬਾਬਾ ਝਿ ਦੇ ਡੇਰੇ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਸਨ। ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਦੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਅੱਜ ਵੀ ਬਾਬਾ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਡੇਰੇ ਤੇ ਪੱਤਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਖੈਰਾਤੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਤਾਂਤਾ ਲੱਗਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ । ਸ਼ਰਧਾਲੂਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਬੈਠੇ ਹੋਏ ਬਾਬਾ ਜੀ ਸਭ ਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਦਾਤਾਂ ਬਖਸ਼ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ। ਇੰਨੇ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਬਾ ਜੀ ਦਾ ਮੋਬਾਇਲ ਖੜਕਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗਿਆ ਕਿ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਨੇ ਤੀਜੀ ਲੜਕੀ ਨੂੰ ਜਨਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਛੇਤੀ ਹੀ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਦਾਤ ਬਖਸ਼ਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਬਾਬਾ ਜੀ ਚਿੰਤਤ ਹੋਏ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਲਈ ਰਵਾਨਾ ਹੋ ਗਏ ।

Hey simarii while i was reading ur story i remmeber one of my india school story that is kind of related to it !!!!

Ik din shaam da vela c ta bhujarg soch da k hun mera time nadae aunda janda jae mae apnae putara nu jeona ja zindgae da matlab na samjaya ana nu loka nae lardha lardha mar dena. Tae pher o bhujarg sawere apnae 4 putara nu sadh da . 4 ve putar jande ta ik putar nu khenda ja put ja k 4 sticks la k aa tae baki 3 mundae aochdae budha hill ah khenda paya ... Tae jado munda ohda stick la k aunda ta ik ik stuck sara nu dae dinda tae khanda k stuick nu tordh.
