The udaat symbol occurs in older texts and indicates a high tone. I tried to find the spelling of udaat in Gurmukhi, but was not successful. Can someone please reply and type "udaat" in Gurmukhi? Thank you in advance for your help.

A sign I tried to read means "Please observe silence" in English. The Gurmukhi is ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਚੁਧ ਦਾਨ ਬਖਸ਼ੋ ਜੀ

I would like to know what each word of the sentence means please. Very important to note that I may have some mispelled words as I am going on memory.

ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰਕੇ appears to mean "Please"
ਚੁਧ appears to mean silence
ਜੀ appears to be there just to make the sentence more polite
and that is the best I could do. I was not successful in searching for the words online as I feel I may have some mispelled words, but I am unsure. Any help is appreciated.
