O.K , means all is good

During historic civil wars, when troops returned without any casualties, a writing was put up so all can see, which read ‘0 Killed’. From here we get the expression O.K., which means all is good.

ਇਤਿਹਾਸਿਕ ਲੜਾਈਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਦੋਂ ਫੌਜੀ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਤੋਂ ਵਾਪਿਸ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਸਨ ਤਾਂ ਬੋਰਡ ਤੇ ‘0 Killed’ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੇਖ ਸਕਣ । ਇਥੋਂ ਹੀ ਸ਼ਬਦ O.K. ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਹੋਈ, ਜਿਸਦਾ ਮਤਲਬ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ 'ਸਭ ਠੀਕ ਹੈ ।'
