People have been insisting, so attached herewith are some pics from ma days in China. It had been raining cats and dogs whilst I was there so couldn't click some great ones. Anyhow, hope you like the indoor ones.. During my stay I didn't get a proper thing to eat.. veggie :( :hehe: I don't even know the names of the food they eat. See if you can make out. And if ever travelling to China, take your food along with you. :pagel:

Changi gall e k tusi china gaye. Kithe gaye c china ch? My Cousin and Uncle were just in Shanghai for some business, I'm thinking of going as well. Maybe Shanghai area. But problem is that most of them there don't speak any english, right?

I'm learning chinese slowly slowly, but the writing is so damn hard. Even urdu is easier than chinese. Mera khiyal e ke chini zaban de vich ko alphabet nahin haiga, so it's more difficult still to learn.

Hello Inspector, this time I went to Quanzhou, a city couple of hours North of Shanghai. I have been to China a couple of times now. Been to places called Dalian, Zhoushan, Zhanjiang, Zhanjiagang, Qingdao and some others I don't remember. Never been to Shanghai, however, I have heard that a number of Indians have large firms out there in Shanghai. By all odds lingo is a big problem!! I was lucky enough to have a workmate from China itself who’s well versed with Mandarin. He was my wingman and conversed all on my behalf. Days I went out by myself, had to get the return address pencilled on a piece of paper, weird, I know :hehe:  From what I perceived, they could get the English I spoke, but couldn’t reply back, so it was of no use. Market news say, language problem in Shanghai ain’t so much as people can comprehend English well. Still, it would be prudent to know their local lingo, if your intentions are to move to Shanghai or thereabouts. Personally, I believe learning Chinese is a tough row to hoe! I wish you luck mate.
Other than lingo, I found rest in order. Everything was so cheap! Electronic gadgets were available at rock bottom prices. You can get a cool hairdo done for as low as $3. A Tsingtao beer costs $2. What else do we want? :hehe:
