not exactly. these nano phages can more effectively be used for tumors. I wud search ma archive laters to chek if i got more material on this
So, this is mostly for atherosclerotic disease?

I don't know much about nanotechnology except that it means the creation of artificial devices on the smallest of imaginable scales. Like a nanometer is juss one billionth of a meter, about 10 times the size of an atom. Nanotechnology is an engineering on the molecule level, engineering that involved quantum physics, chemistry, biology and supercomputing. One of my teacher is associated with such research and about a Year back, I had the honour of visiting this nano research lab. They work totally sterlized atmosphere. Like fluoroscent strip lights, hving very high unltraviolet components juss to kill surface germs. Holiest thing in that lab was the inner core, visible only through sealed observation windows. This was a chamber full ofmirror bright stainless teel tanks, mobile equipments loaded with pumps, valvess and sensor devices. My teacher told me that in the world of nanotechnology, humans were the source of danger and contamination. A falling flake of skin, a hair follicle, the wafted particles of moisture beathed out in casual conversation or a sneeze all could wreak havoc on the nanoscale, releasing oils, acids, alkalines and enzymes that could poison the manufacturing process. Humans are also a rich source of bacteria, fast growing organisms that could consume production boths, clog filters, and even attack the developing nanodevices. But fortunately necessary work could be done remotely from outside the core and the control and sample preparation chambers. They are working on medical nano devices, what they called nanophages, those wud hunt down and kill cancer cells and disease causing bacteria. I dun know the present state of their research but they badly failed in early testing because the nanophages themselves were destroyed by the immune system before they cud do their work. Since then they hd been evaluating different shell configuerations and materials, tying hard to find a combination that would be effctively invisible to the boyd's natural defenses. I though now they hv broken through that obstacle, how to hide it from immune system, though m not that sure as yet. I think they coated nanophages with polysaccharides to overcome theier detection by body's immune system. I dont know more than that. May be you can find something on nanotechnology in your uni library.
