A Colorado family and an Arizona nonprofit are fighting in court over who gets the head of a woman who died this month, along with a $50,000 annuity she left behind.

Police in Georgia say a 23-year-old man grabbed a baseball bat inside of a Walmart store on Wednesday and smashed 29 flat-screen televisions. I am guessing anger management courses will be part of his sentence.

A strip club in Ohio has raised $1,000 for Haitian earthquake relief during what was billed as “Lap dances for Haiti. Ummm, is that legal?

Police say a man who stuffed 75 bottles of body lotion in his pants couldn’t slip away from authorities, hampered by slacks that were nearly bursting at the seams. Dry skin I guess?

Colo. judge fired over teen arrest for overdue DVD

A longtime Colorado judge has been fired after issuing an arrest warrant for a teenager over an overdue library DVD.

Municipal Judge James Kimmel issued the warrant after 19-year-old Aaron Henson failed to show up in court Jan. 14 over the overdue DVD, "House of Flying Daggers." On Jan. 25, police stopped the teen for speeding and held him for nearly eight hours after discovering the warrant.

Henson had moved and didn't received the summons to court. The teen said he had packed the DVD in a box, and returned it about a week before Henson issued the warrant. The library notified the judge the DVD was back.

The Littleton City Council fired Kimmel, a judge for nearly 30 years, at its meeting Tuesday night. Kimmel declined to comment to The Denver Post.

Officer nabs alleged thief who asks for directions

Utah police say a man accused of stealing two phones from a convenience store was arrested when he flagged down the investigating officer and asked for directions.

Police say the officer noticed that John White matched the description a store clerk gave of the thief, and the address White wanted turned out to be the same one the officer was checking.

The address had been left on a slip of paper the thief left at a gas station.

White was arrested after the officer found he had both phones, along with a small amount of marijuana.

- Students at a New Jersey high school have learned not to mess with the lunch ladies. Cafeteria workers at Atlantic City High School served only cheese sandwiches Wednesday and Thursday as punishment for a cell-phone-coordinated food fight.

- An Iowa teen is showing off her one-of-a-kind high school prom dress she made out of gum wrappers. And the boys are expected to say hubba-hubba or I should say, hubba-babba!

- An Oklahoma City man had his nose cut off with a sword after a bar manager allegedly became angry at patrons for being too loud and attacked them. Ummm, yuck

$62,000 taken in 'curse' scam

CHICAGO – Authorities in Illinois are searching for two
women charged with stealing a woman’s money under the
pretense of cleansing it of evil spirits. Cook County
authorities indicted Laura Santini, 61, and her daughter,
Rosann, 35, on felony theft charges this week for scamming
a Park Ridge woman out of $62,000, the Chicago Tribune
reported Thursday. “They basically were able to convince
the victim that some money she had gotten was cursed money
and that somehow that curse had transferred to other money
that she had,” Chicago police Detective Milorad Sofrenovic
said. “They told her that in order to be able to remove
this curse, they needed to take this money physically to
a shrine in Indiana and with prayers drive the curse from
the money.” Sofrenovic said the woman realized she had
been scammed when she saw a “for rent” sign on the women’s
Chicago home. He said the women have not been seen in
more than a year

The world's first 3D newspaper

In one of the more bizarre media announcements of recent times, News International's LCD (Lowest Common Denominator) British Tabloid The Sun is to publish a 3D edition on June 5 complete with 3D glasses, 3D editorial images, 3D adverts and a 3D Soccer World Cup schedule Wall Chart. It's yet another newspaper first for the Murdoch empire, though we suspect the motivation is more related to Murdoch's Sky Sports broadcasting the World Cup in 3D than by any forlorn hope of innovating a reversal of the Sun's circulation which has been in decline for 15 years.

The world's first 3D newspaper will be published just a few days prior to action beginning in South Africa at the soccer World Cup and can be expected to contribute to massive awareness of the event being broadcast in 3D by Murdoch's Sky Sports. 3D Mania can be expected to peak this northern summer as the world's population is given its first real incentive to purchase a 3D TV and a massive audience is attracted into venues around the world to witness the Cup in 3D, and be warned – nothing will sell 3D TV like sport – it adds a whole new dimension to sport which makes it far more compelling than with other 3D content.

So 3D TV is hot, but 3D newspapers … maybe not.

REALLY STRANGE NEWS....

Grandmother and grandson to have child together..

Pearl Carter and Phil Bailey, 26, have paid a surrogate mother £20,000 to have Mr Bailey’s child, which the couple plan to bring up together.
Mrs Carter, from Indiana, met Mr Bailey four years ago after he tracked her down following the death of his mother, Lynette.

Mrs Carter fell pregnant with Lynette at 18, out of wedlock, and claims that she was forced to give her child up for adoption by her strict Catholic parents.

She went on to marry, but never had any more children.

The couple, who claim to be abused in public and could face prison for incest, say that they fell in love and became lovers soon after meeting.

In an interview with the New Zealand magazine, New Idea, Mrs Carter, said: “I’m not interested in anyone else’s opinion.
"I am in love with Phil and he’s in love with me. Soon I’ll be holding my son or daughter in my arms and Phil will be the proud dad.”
Mr Bailey said: “I love Pearl with all my heart. I’ve always been attracted to older women and I think Pearl is gorgeous. Now I’m going to be a dad and I can’t wait.
“Yes, we get laughed at and bullied when we go out and kiss in public but we don’t care. You can’t help who you fall for.”

“Initially I was shocked,” said Miss Campbell, on learning the couple were related. “But they’re a brilliant pair and I saw how much they loved each other. I know the baby will be loved too.”

Hmm.. I am really sorry Yamlaji if this disturbed u...My tru aplogy..
But if we dont try to be judgmental and try to understand the reason of this kind of behavior..then this result of behavioral problems as disturbance in Id, ego and superego..and regression to Oedipus and electra complex...

Mysterious Bloating
Everyone has heard of bloating from gassy foods or any number of problems but Kerri Dowdswell had an unusual problem. She had a severe case of bloating that lasted for 10 years, doctors don’t know what caused the bloating and they are not sure what made it stay for such a length of time. Over the years she has been tested for irritable bowel syndrome, Coeliac disease and food allergies and intolerance’s, but all the results came back negative. Fortunately for Kerri the actual deformation doesn’t cause her pain on a regular basis, it just comes and goes but not very often. She says that the worst part about the issue is that she is constantly asked when she is due to give birth because it looks like she is pregnant.

“I’ve been asked several times when I’m due to give birth, and I usually have to explain that my “baby” is a roast dinner,” she said.
