ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਤਾਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਘਰ ਦੇ ਭੇਦੀ ਤੋਂ ਡਰਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ  ਕਿ ਕਿਧਰੇ ਮਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਦਲ ਅਕਾਲੀ-ਭਾਜਪਾ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਸੀ ਬਿਸਤਰਾ ਗੋਲ ਨਾ ਕਰ  ਦੇਵੇ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਮਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਬਾਦਲ ਨੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ‘ਚ ‘ਘੱਟੋ-ਘੱਟ 18 ਸਾਲ ਬਿਤਾਏ  ਹਨ ਤੇ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਤਾਏ ਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮੁਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸ. ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਦਲ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ  ਗੁਣਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਾਜਸੀ ਗੁੜ੍ਹਤੀ ਲੈ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ।
