Sarbat Khalsa in which hundreds of thousands of Sikhs attended came to an end with the Gurmatas being read by the organizers in which the future of the Sikh struggle was announced. Following several hours of the many Sikh personalities presenting their views on stage, Gurdeep Singh Bathinda read out the 13 resolutions which included the appointment of new Jathedars, Bhai Jagtar Singh Hawara appointed as Jathedar of Akal Takht Sahib, Bhai Amrik Singh Ajnala as Jathedar of Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib, Baba Baljit Singh Daduwal as Jathedar of Takht Sri Damdama Sahib, with Bhai Dhian Singh Mand to act as caretaker Jathedar in the absence of Bhai Jagtar Singh Hawara. Other resolutions passed included the Fakr-e-Kaum award being taken back from Parkash Singh Badal and award from Avtar Singh Makkar, KPS Gill and General Brar declared as enemies of the Panth, call for release of all Sikh prisoners. Calls to setup a new World Sikh Parliament comprising Sikhs from the homeland and abroad to be set up. The next Sarbat Khalsa is to be held on Vaisakhi of 2016 where the roles will officially be undertaken.
