The birth on Monday in a California hospital of eight babies -- six boys and two girls -- to one mother, marks a rare case of multiple births, even though the phenomenon is on the increase thanks to anti-sterility treatments.

-- The record for multiple births belongs to Australian Geraldine Broderick, who gave birth on June 13, 1971 to nine babies at the Royal Hospital for Women, in Sydney. Two were stillborn, while the other seven only survived six days, according to the Guinness Book of Records;

-- The first birth of living octuplets happened in Houston in the southern United States in December 1998. Nkem Chuckwu, an 27-year-old American of Nigerian origin aged 27, brought six girls and two boys into the world. One of the girls died a week later[/color]

The news you gave about 8 babies (called octuplets), ohde kol gharey 6 hor neyaney aa. Fer ehda matlab ohde kol hun 14 neyaney aa, te jehde jehde lokan nu pata diaper kidhan lagde, ohna nu pata eh teemi di matt wajj jani.

Naley oh teemi kehndi si mein tan ik hor kudi chaundi san. HAHAH!
