Kulwinder Singh of Mukatsar Sahib won silver in 2:04.42 and Varinder Singh of Kapurthala got bronze in 2:04.56. Simran Singh of Patiala clinched gold in discus with a throw of 36.80 metres. Surinder Singh of Faridkot won silver with 35.84m where as Rupinder Singh of Amritsar got bronze at 35.30m.
Gagandeep Singh of Ludhiana lifted gold in 50 kg class weightlifting. Rahul Gupta also from Ludhiana won silver where as Gagandeep Singh of Sangrur got bronze medal.
