In the old days, it was used as an antiseptic, I'm not sure of its antiseptic properties. I beleive, it may be because urine contains significant amount of ammonia.

I never suggested drinking urine is healthy, merely stated the facts. If you can't comprehend something, don't bother commenting on it.

Why a person would need to drink their own urine is beyond me...?

I know there are certain medications in which animal urine is used in the manufacturing process. I don't remember the names on top of my head.

exactly, I find it ridiculous when you see people taking 50 different herbal supplements/vitamins. I try to reason with them, as most of that stuff gets excreted from the body along with their money but NOOOOOO, people don't want to listen. So, I don;t even bother anymore.

Same as for when people have a cold and they want you to give them meds - what the hell, it's a friggin cold, you are not going to die...get over it. Infact, it makes your immune system stronger.
