I think i understand enough from what you wrote and your title. Anyone who has a problem with a person dating someone from another religion is a fool. They are simply jealous because they wish that was their situation. No religion tells you, you can not date outside of your religion. If it did, that's discrimination. Good on them.

Similar situation,

Girl is Punjabi Sikh
Guy is / was muslim but doesn't practice Islam / doesn't believe in "muslim" ways and follows the Sikhi ways as in goes to Paath and praying like Guru Ji's/ believing in the morals laid out by Guru

Both have decided kids will be raised Sikh and the family will be Sikh.

What would you comment on that? :S
