:pagel: Ok m making dis thread to get ur views abt it.. Ab desi mentality ko jaante huwe I knw ke kuch loog hon ge joh ye soochne ya pochne beht jaay ge ke y u asking dis? Is dis sumthing u r going through? Ect. ect.. So m nt gonna focus on these types of qes kyun ke explainations de ke kisi ki soch toh badli nahi ja sakti :smile: I just wanted to get ur views abt it..

Thrz a friend of mine joh muslim hai (pakistani) nd ek ladka hai joh sikh (indian) hai.. they knw each other for 5 years now.. Joh jaan pechaan dosti se start huwi thi woh hamesha ki tarha pyar pe khatam ho rahi hai lol but I really wonder ke is dis gonna work out?

Ok I agree they are really in love but main problem toh religion ki ati hai.. Baki batain toh banda ignore kar bhi sakta hai but wht abt the difference between these two religions? :lost: Jab bhi baat religion ki ati hai both of them try to avoid it nd not to talk abt it. Abhi they ar nt really old so they think itz nt such a big deal nd I do respect the way the think. Lekin sawal ye utthta hai ke life main kab tak is baat ko avoid kiya ja sake ga? :wait: Zindagi ki kisi ek stage pe ja ke toh ye baat problem bani gi I geuss..

The guy sayz tht religion doesnt matter to him bcaz he loves her for wht she is, nd she doesnt needs to change anything for him neither will he change his religion for her :dnk: Ap logon ko kya lagta hai is dis possible? Can two people get married nd live life in two diffrent kind of ways? Humare khayal se ye sab batain sound nice in bollywood movies nd fairy tales.. In real life dis is impossible : But I gotta say I have seen tht they really are serious abt everything..

Ab joh family problems hon gi letz nt talk abt tht bcaz tht is sumthing which is gonna happen anyway.. Itz gonna b world war 3 :

Ab halaat ye hain ke in donu main se koi bhi is baat ko sochne ke liye bhi ready nahi hota ke in donu main kaafi farak hai.. :sad: They say ke jab bhi kuch hoga tab hi dheka jay ga.. Wht do u all have to say abt dis? Just imagine ur bro/sis/friend/cousin is in dis situation wht wud u say to him/her? Wud u accept her/his choice? Kya ye sach hai ke pyar main religion,differences kuch bhi important nahi hota? :lost: Is it worth it to go through wolrd war 3? :..Kya ap khud kabhi aisa faisla karte? Aise rishte ka koi acha nd kaamyaab future ho sake ga?? Pyar zyada bhara hota hai ye duniyadaari?? wud u support them? :dnk:

Nd how to make them understand ke mayb dis wnt work out the way they expect it to work out?

The biggest religion in the world is Humanity. We all bleed the same blood.

So if you have parents that can look past "hindu", "Sikh" business then go ahead love who you want to love BUT

if you do not have parents that can look past that and you CARE then pehla hee soch samaj ke relation shuru karo.

Baad ch sochan da faiyada ni hunda because answer sab nu pata huna but no one wants to admit they know the answer.

There are only two options ALWAYS:

1. Take a stand for what you chose. And stop complaining about how difficult it is because it's not difficult, you are just chicken and have no backbone.. Hide behind how your parent's won't understand and pretend it's your PARENTS FAULT. The truth is you are not strong enough to fight for what you believe in.

2. Don't get involved in the first place.

Many times this question has been asked on PJ. But society is still stuck in the same backward thinking.

You should pick a partner that is good to you. Can take care of you, is a good person.

As for raising your kids, raise them with good morals and values not by telling them which god to pray to.
