Ik raat si mere Ishq wargi,
Ik Chann si ohdi shakal warga,
Ik badal si wich opra jeha,
ik tara si mere dil warga.
Badal ne akhir nu chann luko liya,
Us tare da kisse ne Sajjan Kho liya,
Chann jad badal de wich poori tarah luk gya,
Bina chandni to akhir oh tara tut gya,
Holi holi karke pher raat mukk gai,
Meri bi ishq wali gal mukk gai,
Hun bi oh chann kinia te apni chandni sutda hai,
par afsos hun roz raat nu ik nava tara tutda hai.
