Veerendra (Varinder) - A Legend of Punjabi Cinema

A thread about Late Veerendra ji (some write as Varinder). So, i m starting this thread and requesting all the punjabi cinema lovers to contribute in it.

Trivia:

* Veerendra had a career spanning only a bit more than a decade - 12 years.

* Veerendra tried his luck at Hindi movies, but due to the films flopping returned to Punjabi cinema again. Do Chehre (1977) and Khel Muqaddar Ka (1981).

* Veerendra and Pammi Veerendra have 3 children; 2 sons (Randeep & Ramandeep) and 1 daughter. The oldest of them all, Randeep has already starred in one movie, directed by his mother, Dullha Bhatti (1998) - released only as home video, If I'm not mistaken . The younger son Ramandeep is a model.

I remember watching Bhalbeero Bhabi. I think he was in that.

Didn't he get shot or something?
