Sometimes when I'm coding so fast and working out a problem, I can actually start sweating (at normal room temperature).

Also, the spacebar is the first key I break on every keyboard I've had.

I'm not sure if you're referring to the key breaking or the working-out... but I haven't broken the spacebar on that.
And like the video explains, it's about the meters your fingers travel, and/or any other movement needed to facilitate that. And on top of that just like you can sweat while working out math problems intensely, same thing can happen with solving software bugs.
