Zombie computers are computers that have been taken over by a hacker without the knowledge of the owner.

A zombie computer is very much like the agent in "The Manchurian Candidate." A cracker -- a computer hacker who intends mischief or harm -- secretly infiltrates an unsuspecting victim's computer and uses it to conduct illegal activities. The user generally remains unaware that his computer has been taken over -- he can still use it, though it might slow down considerably. As his computer begins to either send out massive amounts of spam or attack Web pages, he becomes the focal point for any investigations involving his computer's suspicious activities.

PREVENTION :-

1.Antivirus software is an absolute necessity. Whether you purchase a commercial package like McAfee VirusScan or download a free program like AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition, you need to activate it and make sure your version remains current. Some experts say that to be truly effective, an antivirus package would need to update on an hourly basis. That's not practical, but it does help stress the importance of making sure your software is as up to date as possible

2. You should also make sure that your passwords are difficult or impossible to guess, and you shouldn't use the same password for multiple applications. This makes remembering all those passwords a pain, but it gives you an added layer of protection.

3.and sometimes if u dont get any solution simply format the ur whole computer :) (my opinion) then reinstall the windowns

kade tuhada antivirus da subscription period expire hoyea.. ohde toh baad vekhiyo ohi software virus ban janda je na renew karvao.. ahi ta ihna di business strategy hundi aa..I guess.. vase meri personal theory aa.. :pagel: :wait:

yeah theek aa kafi had tak , mera te bohat vaari hoea xpire lolz maen te cracks use karda haha,
jado xpire ho janda tan ohi antivirus ohda viruses nu sharan den lag penda lol , pta e nai lagda k kine ikathe ho gaye :spam: , kadi AVAST use kita? it alwayas sounds like " A virus has been detected"
menu hasa aa janda , dar jea b lagda.. detection ik adi file di e karda par lagda bda effective aa :blah:

mere kol vase Norton360 aa ha sach ohdi key hegi mere kol je kise nu chahidi hoyee.. actually that is valid for three

i dont know much abt it.. i think i can give u key u can install software from Norton's Website..where they will ask abt key and u can fill that and u will have antivirus subscription for one year.. :happy: i guess.
