If it take 8min and 20 secs for sun light to reach earth, does it mean when we look at sun it looks how it was 8min and 20 secs ago?

Guru di Maseet - Guru Hargobind Sahib ji ne baniya se.
Location - Near River Beas.
Reason - A battle was fought between Sikh and Mughals. Most of the city was distroyed in the battle. As Sikh were majority, they rebuilt there Sikh Gurudwaras again.. But muslim people were minorities. So Guru Sabh help them built a Mosque (which still exist) and called Guru di Maseet.

Yes. You don't see the sun, but its is sun light that travels and excites your eye retina.

Mata Khivi, wife of Guru Angad Dev, is the only lady whose name has been mentioned in Sri Guru Granth Sahib. She has been highly praised in one of the hymns composed by Balwand and entered in Guru Granth Sahib at page 967. It goes like this: buluvu(n)dd kheevee naek jun jis buhuthee shhaao puthraalee || lu(n)gar dhoulath vu(n)ddeeai rus a(n)mrith kheer ghiaalee || Here ‘th’ stands for s and ‘dh’ stands for d.) Balwand says that Khivi, the Guru's wife, is a noble woman, who gives soothing, leafy shade to all.
