Who was appointed the first Granthi of Guru Granth Saheb ?

BABA BUDHA JI

The first head Granthi of Sri Harmandir Sahib. Baba Budha applied Tilak  to five Sikh Gurus, from Guru Angad Dev to Guru Hargobind. Tikka was applied to the foreheads of 7th, 8th and 9th Sikh Gurus by Baba Gurditta Randhawa, grandson of Baba Buddha ji. This ceremony in the case of 10th Sikh Guru was performed by Ram Kanwar Randhawa alias Gurbakhsh Singh.

The original Bir is in KARTARPUR
This first volume, or Bir, was made in Amritsar and later transferred to Kartarpur, where it remains today. The opening lines are in the hand of Guru Arjun, and it bears the signature of Guru Hargobind at the end. There are several blank pages, left by Guru Arjun to hold the writings of Guru Teg Bahadur.Apart frommany handwritten copies of Sri Guru Granth Sahib possessed by various persons and found in some gurdwaras the most important is the Bir recension at Kartarpur ,near Jullundur in the custody of Sodhi Amarjit Singh , a descendant of Dhirmal.

Yeah your answers are fine. Thanked!

I personally love the humility in this tuk and others like it, "har kirapaa dhhaaree dhaasan dhaas ||"
where Guru ji references to himself as the "the slave of His slaves." There's one that I can't find, where he calls himself the slave of the slaves of slaves of God. In other parts Guru ji calls himself as chaakar.

So you can ask the next question if you wish.

                      GURUDWARA PATHAR SAHIB IN 1517
Gurdwara Pathar Sahib, is a beautiful Gurudwara sahib constructed in the memory of Guru Nanak, about 25 miles away from Leh, on the Leh-Kargil road, 12000 ft above the sea level. The Gurdwara was built in 1517 to commemorate the visit of Guru Nanak Dev, the founder Guru of the Sikh faith, to the Ladakh region.

What were Guru Nanak Dev Ji's travels called ?

Guru Nanak visited all the different places in Punjab, and then he decided to proceed on four long tours, which took him to several different religious places. All of these places were in India and abroad. These tours undertaken by Guru Nanak bagan to be known as Char Udasis of Guru Nanak Sahib.

Bhai Mardanaji..Bhai Mardana was the very first kirtania of Sikh history. His Rabab, even to this day, serves as the source of motivation for our kirtanias. Every Sikh, as well as kirtania, can learn a lot from his selfless dedication, sacrifice and humility filled life.

No, that's not it. Guru Nanak Dev ji calls himself the slave of God a lot of places. I was referring to the one place where I had found that he referred himself as the Daas of the Daas of the Daas of God.

Next Question: Udham Singh naam ohda naam baad'ch peya, ohda janam wele ik vakhra naam si, oh dasso? What was his real name (the name he was born with)?

I just read this today in the Sher-E-Punjab (so if you have the new edition, you can get the answer there).
