Not vry surprised to see the statistics…coz we all know the situation is really poor….
We are lucky enough that we are part of prosperous state ‘Punjab’…. Outside Punjab situation is even worse…
I think  its not even the fault of our Indian govt. as Govt is doing a lot …. but the poor people , who are fighting to survive in a day to day life ,think that by making the children work rather than getting them educated will get them more money..... and this vicious cycle goes on... :dnk:

khane di problem nai aa pendu there r many rural education programs in India, where free food is provided to kids along with primary education like mid day meal school progrma, school meal program and many more but there is need of establishment and then continuation of these programs in Inida but usually higher officials use all of the allocated money for their personal benefits so money dont reach to lower level..thats the problem..

I believe the biggest problem is religion and God. For too long religion has been used to put the fear of God into people. When the British ruled India they did it with a very simple policy. It was called “divide and rule”. They practiced this in India more than in any part of their empire. Why? It is simple, because they realised that there were many religions in India, many languages and many different cultures. They knew that India had a sophisticated society but they knew it would be easy divided. When they left they caused the ultimate division; Partition.

It is easier to control people if you feed them a whole lot of dung and then keep them in the dark. If you give them education they will revolt and then they will realise that the nonsense being preached to them is just that – nonsense.

The modern Government is just carrying out the divide and rule policy in a much more subtle form. It knows that education (or the lack of it) is the key to India alongside its vast labour quantity.
