tuhanu ik topic create karna chai da hai..... jis wich apne new users nu help mile sakeeee ki aap apni new topic kithe create kare ki oh new topic othe create karne jithe sahi jaga hai usdi...... n tuhanu stupied topics ta ban karna chai hai kiiiiii je post vadiya na hova ta automatic delete ho javeeeee....... esi naal pj forum vich vadiye rahe gaya i hope so.....
n jehri suggestions dasni hona new users nu oh home page ta he icon bana ka add karooooooo may be esi naal help milu gayi ohnu viiiii......
may be mai thik sochdi hoya...... baki tuhanu sab nu pata hai cuz mera to vade ho tusie sab esi nu changi tharah jande hova gayeeee......

It's a great suggestion! We do have something similar I guess. Help & Suggestions as well as Tutorials. Dona sections wich nave users apne suggestions de sakde ja fer sab kuch sikh sakde.

Bahut vadia gal kahi. I think PJ is slow because of these HUGE useless topics, like this emotion topic (http://punjabijanta.com/pj-games/give-an-emotion-to-the-person-above/) is just spam.

Yea but we do not decide what is useless. Users nu apne posts naal lagav hunda. Offend ho jande je kisse da post delete karo.
For example, quite honestly I think "is the above person single or committed?" is useless. How many times can you answer the same question? Same people reply. It's such a redundant useless topic. BUT... so many people reply to it...adhe users de post count osse topic cho vad de. Je mai delete karda, fer agle gussa na karuge?
Admins can have opinions as to what they think is useless, but acting on it, is not user friendly.

ChLo But U can remOve thOSe topIcs Which Are LOcKEd. .
just have an overview of all the theards been posted and then .see which topics are being accesed by the user more. than others.
Jst remove those one which are nt accessed or in which no one is posting.
it will help all the users and the prblem of slow pj might get solved. as everyday ..many users say the same thng pj is slw / fix pj and so on ..

That's an awesome suggestion as well. I'm even thinking of getting rid of the emoticon post that billlu mentioned or others similar.

And about the discussion of deleting topic:
I would say Deleting a topic is not the best solution cause as Noor said:
Users nu apne posts naal lagav hunda. Offend ho jande je kisse da post delete karo.
And the Topic maker/posters put some time in posting the topic/reply and wesse we if the user(s) are happy(by responding to any topic like 20 times a day), the admin/sub admin can't delete the topic as he/she thinks its useless.. Main reason is that you can't put knoweledge in every topic... That gonna stress everyone out.
Also If deleting a topic was the best solution, 'Lots might have been deleted when PJ launched' - Even One liner Topic from 2007 exist. The Topic from 2007 will put the same amount of load on the site server as the one made in 2010
The Topic should be deleted if the PJ Server is facing the space issue.

han par u can filter them k kere topic maje dar si kinna nu rakhna kena nu dlt karna... 2,3 bandea di comity bana lao ess kam lai..

vese kafi time pehla main bara rolla payea si ek kam lai meri kise ney suni ni.. v can dlt useless replys.. j ede nal farak penda koi...

That's exactly what we are doing Dev. Deleting useless replies. Topics like your favourite emoticon :S I don't think we will delete topics where users have spent time offering a worthwhile reply.
