Gran Torino - A very good movie... An old army man.. Who is mostly pissed and live in a Chinese neighborhood and help a Chinese family .. Even though he is always pissed at them.. The movie pace is a little slow at some place.. But overall a good movie..

Sherlock Holmes - The movie started well but lost its way in the middle.. I donno its just all around the place in the end. Like a bomb kills Sherlock his friends and then he reappeared in the room without any explanation. The story is from the novel Sherlock Holmes and is about a dectective and the doctor solving a mystery but its just all around the place after interval
I didnt even like the end.. I think they will bring in the next movie that why have a crappy end.

Scarface ,watch n learn from it.It was made in 1983,really close 2 life.Moral is u can't buy happiness with all ur money,it is quiet sweary but its gud film

LOL one of my friends wrote a song on Scarface in punjabi, it's pretty good. I was telling him to give it to singers to sing it.

English:
Watched Sherlock Holmes (like Jhanda mentioned), pretty good action suspense movie. It has that detective storyline to it that keeps you guessing, and good twists to keep you occupied. Ending is a not as good, but rest is OK.

Watched Mitti (Punjabi Movie). Very realistic movie about our youth in Punjab. How they're all becoming thugs and how politics is influencing them, yet they do not want to live in the village and do farming. DON'T watch it with family, as it is not a family movie. It's a guys movie, which can give a good lesson about responsibility. Warning: There's some swearing and sexual innuendos that are implied, like "teri bhen di... (silence)" in some places. But very realistic and powerful movie overall.

Watched The Wrestler with Mickey Rourke. Emotional story about a wrestler (think WWE/WWF) who goes through his downfall as he ages. I think it was nominated for 2 Oscars.

Hindi:
Watched Rann (Amitabh Bachan movie), about Indian media. Very good movie about media and politics power struggle in India. Shows how people are creating the news, rather than news agencies reporting news.
Watched Ajab Prem ki Gazab kahani for like 30 minutes, didn't like it, acting is bad.

I watched Shutter Island , wadia movie hai par end is exactly different to what you see in whole movie.

Wrong Side of the Town , Batista and RVD wreslters in the movie, more sort of gangster movie. .its nice to see something different . too much searing in the movie. Omarion in the movie too.

The Hurt locker, wadia movie si as Jhanda said.. so ya must watch.

Sunny Deol's new movie Right ya wrong kal dekhi ..badi hi different jahi movie si . you dont see him doing what he did in this movie

The Ghost Town - I like this movie.. You have a doctor with a british accent. This guy can see Ghost so most of the ghost drop by his place to get help about there unfinished business. Not a scary movie but a funny one.. Overall Good movie

Icarus - A professional hitman who try to save his family as someone else has a contract to kill the guy. Lot of action... Some unwanted Bed Scenes and the movie is good. It just came out and directly on DVD i guess. overall a good action

There will be Blood - Relased in 2007 and was rated in best 10 movies of the year. It based on the Novel "Oil" A silver digger get into oil diggining in California. How his life changes as he goes to get more wealth. A Good movie but a bit slow. I think the movie was 2 hrs and they might have survived with just 1 1/2 hrs may be. But I like it.. Lot of nice talk happens in the movie

Godfather - This is the first of the three movies series from Godfather. If you ask me I would say only the first two godfather are worth watching. In the Third one the story get boring. Godfather is the story of the Itallian mafia family lead by Vito Corleone that existed in New York. It revovles in the later age of Vito and how he dies where his youngest son (who is not willing) take over the Mafia family and take them to the new era of Mafia in Newyork. Nice plot in the movie

Personally I liked Godfather 2 more than The Godfather as it tells all about Vito's earlier life how he become a Don and also relates to what his younger son Michale currently doing to expand the mafia family hold.

And Godfather 3 is messed up and boring.. Here Michale gets old and find it hard to control the Mafia family hold and dont even have anyone to talk over as his kid want to be a doctor. So leads to the end of era of Carleone family mafia hold in NY. Just too slow for me.. Not much in the movie

Godfather series (exculding part 3) one of the best movies every made in American History..

oh Forgot

A boy with ripped Pyajamas - I think they Relased this is French/german langauge but I watched the english version. Just a very good Movie. This is the story of Jews who are suffering during the Hitler era. In this one A German boy innocently became a friend with a Jew boy who is one of the camp where they keep all the jews and kill them with the gas chamber. A very sad end to the story and also some of the script dialogues are sad too if you aware of Jews being treated during Hitler era

Striker (hindi): About a boy who starts to play carrom board game locally. I used to play it so I watched it. Interesting story. It touches on ill politics and religion-based anger. Very good for a movie with no famous Bollywood actors.

Daybreakers (english): Has a different story. The premis is that everybody turns vampire and only 5% humans left. Loved the twists and the end. You should watch it.

Did you relly like Daybreaker? I thought it was boring, ending wasn't a surprise either. For it to be a vampire movie, i expected something along the line of Underworld (which is awesome by the way). Daybreakers was way too slow for me, not thrilling at all.
