Punjabis are known to celebrate all occasions with grandeur. Punjabi wedding rituals are fun and full of gaiety..Earlier marriage ceremonies were more extended and…. Completed in traditional way…… whereas now..these are restricted to 2-3 days ……. Some are of the opinion that wedding should be a private affair, and there are plenty who think it's an occasion to make a statement...the louder the better!

What u say about the marriage ceremony rituals .. ...

Should be extended and should take place in completely traditional way
OR
Its not worth spending time and money on marriage rituals….

Agree... but how many people attend actual wedding ceremony..."Anand Karaj"
only family members of bride and groom

Guests are not at all interested in going to Gurudwara sahib to attend actual wedding ceremony

i just came back from punjab ...i attended 4 weddings in 30 days i still felt like i didn't spend much time in wedding ceremony's lol

Whao..Punjabi wedding..es toh jyada fun kite nai ho sakda..Sadi family vich tah 10 days pehla Ladies Sangeet shuru ho janda.. one week pehla bhathi char jandi.. :happy: I just love to dance in weddings..But i dont like drinking stuff..Sade family weddings vich bahut bura haal va..Sharabiyan da..Meri tah koyee nai mannda.. :sad:

Baki in my opinion, if u can get off from job, there is nothing bad in long weddings :happy: ..Enjoy karida..I just cant wait to attend another wedding in Punjab.. :love:

punjab ch viah hove and pee kee ek adhi vaar koi kutt na khave viah nai poora hunda....mai aj takk jine viah attend kite sab te larai hoi honi aa..ek do nu shad ke..
