Piracy de faide bohat a:
- pollution ni hunda computer toh s8 dwld karo and otho hi dlt kar deo..CD, Dvds enviroment nu kiraab kartian
- dujja j piracy naa hundi ta hun jinne punjab ch singer ne..oh is toh v duggne honne c.
- third har singer di apni music company honni c
- it saves money cuz ajj kal sare singer bekar a..masa sari album cho ik adda song wadhia hunda...so garbage nu kon buy karna chawe ga

but i think sometime its gud for Artist too...Sometimes artists r not able to spend son much on advertisement like for new artist...then its gud way to gain popularity...
most of downloading is done by teenagers..and youngsters so its gud for that artist in long term..when these guys will have more money..they will buy too.. :happy:

ahha i like your point of view but it ill not make any difference in long term because we (younsters) will be so addicted to pirated music that i can't imagine myself buying a album of any punjabi singer from market. lol

The place where artists make good money is through live shows.

Online piracy and Indian type of piracy are two different things. I'll explain on the online piracy:
Through online Bhangra piracy, artists are able to become very popular atleast online. I know a lot of albums where when the company tries to stop piracy very strongly, their album won't get famous as much. It has happened to a lot of UK albums. But I see a growing trend with sites like pz10 offering everything for free. It is very bad, because when you can pirate very easily, it will not be just a promotional thing; because too many people will do it.

So, low piracy is good, easy/high piracy is bad.

- Piracy is When you illegal Download from Youtube and Call that you property without paying the Legimate money for it, as you buy a Bollywood Movie for a dollar, when it is 10 bucks !!

If a song don't have a Video Released and Song is on Youtube.. How is that Pirated - That is the Channel holder property.

- And if a User upload a video that he recorded of the TV or DVD ... That is users/Youtube ignorance not the viewer is doing something illegal

je sites nu paise deney pen, fer ohna ne users kolo charge karne harek download de. Jida ke iTunes/AmazonMP3 chalda hai. Desiya di vi ik site hai punjabcentral, par oh ehne kharab aa oh users kolo charge kari jande, par artists nu dinde hi nahi lol. Pretty dubious.
