Just out of curiosity, why is it always love & not arranged??

Not sure if I'm right, however, I've always seen or have come across ppl preferring love marriage over arranged..

I'd like some views/opinions on why Love and not arranged, or why arranged and not love.. please provide solid reasons supporting your statement  Pagel:)

As for me, I'd support arranged vyah anyday!!

hmmmmmmmmmmmm depend kk pplz like luv marrages cuz htye wanan choose ther life partner there self cuz they wanan knw the person befor the merri them

i rather have luv marriage cuz i wanan knwo the person befor i get marri to him cuz if we dont work out after marrage i wdnt wanna say to ma parents ma life is messed up cuz of u guyz it will be ma life nd how ever its ganan be its gannabe ma resposibilty

in arange marrage mom dad choose the partner sometimes they dont workd out ucz they r to diff nd htey blame there parents nd i dont wanan do tht so i go with luv marriage cuz i believe in makin ma life not someone to make ma life

i wanna be happy or sad bye ma choice not someone else even thu ma parents knwo more but still
well thts ma ans

yups i agree with u sisu ajj kal de zamane ch waise arranged marriage ik duje nu pehla jane bgair theek ni rehndi coz boy/girl pehla hi kise na kise chackr ch hunde mostly alwayz ni and marriage toon pehla je kise nu at least jande howo fer wi gd a coz thn u knw tusi ohde naal poori life kat sakde o ja nah iif arranged marriage howe thn je divorce karo apne te janta sari galla karnia shuru kar dendi so betta luv marriage coz a fer tuhadi jumewari a k tusi apni life kidha create karde o.....

i agree with u sis.. i rather have luv marriage than arrange ... i mean i can have arrange marrige to par if mera parents give me the time to understand tht person ... cuz ajkal da jamna wich arrange marriges dnt work out cuz purana sama wich womans chup kar ka life kat landya c par ajkal they r edu.. as guyz so they make there own choices so ja oh ik duja nu phala changi tera jaan lana than gud hunda

to me its just the time has changed and people gotta change with it and accept the change.
Puraane zaamaane wich arrange marriage was ok and lasted so long. But today arrange marriages last at the most like about 3 years or so ... for about 40 percent of the time unless the people really understand each other. I have seen some cases of both arrange and love ...... and in ARRANGE marriage .... the kuri always have to go thru so much compare to love marriage.
