:okk: :mean: My mate and i were drinking and playing the guitar when his mate(punjabi guy) turned up. He made chapatis and offered me some, then i asked him if he could let me have a go making it, he agreed and handed the rolling pin. So there i was and they stood beside me shocked. :laugh: After i was done, my mate was like "Wow you're good, better than him". The punjabi dude said it was 100% perfect and asked if i've done this before, i said it was the 1st time but always wanted to do it. :dumlak: It was awesome, couldn't believe i actually did that.

Was good meeting him, he was pretty nice. He told me 'ke haal aa' means how are you. The moment he said that, i understood him, i was excited as 'cause i knew what he meant. :happy:

Thats so sweets.. Good job.. =D> =D> u know its one of the most hard thing to do in Punjabi cooking..

and that rolling pin is called BELNA in punjabi sometimes u can use to beat ur BF..

and For "Ke Haal aa" u can respond by saying.. "Mein Vadiya Ha, Tusi Dasso" translation " I am good, How about u?" :happy: ( only if u r feeling good then u can say this..:pagel:)

Thanks!! :happy: i didn't expect it to be as quoted "perfect", i was just really keen to do it, chapatis seem to be popular indian food, tried them before and yes, i HAD to have a go making it.

: Random i know. Anyways it wasn't a question, more like he was teaching me because i came off very interested. Haha. He was pretty cool and welcoming, even though i made a big mess in his flat.

How can you live like that, but don't worry i can turn ya into non vegan in no time. My bf was as well but now not so much. Butter chicken is saliva dripping to ad to that. :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

i used to eat chicken and its been three years i havent even thought of eating it again.
theres alot of indian vegeterian food much better than non veg. believe me all these aussie mates that i got here they love those veg dishes

Lol aight just calm down. Yeah it was pretty easy i reckon. And i can't wait to "walk" soon. In fact i can't wait to be sprinting.
