Surprises ...

Its an emotional state experienced as the result of an unexpected significant event.

Surprise may be neutral, pleasant, or unpleasant. If a person experiences a very powerful or long lasting surprise it may be considered shock. (yes the recent PJ upgrade /:) I guess I came in this package at least for me :loll:)


Surprise is expressed in the face by the following features:

- Eyebrows that are raised so they become curved and high.
- Stretched skin below the eyebrows.
- Horizontal wrinkles across the forehead.
- Open eyelids: the upper lid is raised and the lower lid is drawn down, often exposing the white sclera above and below the iris.
- Dropped jaw so that the lips and teeth are parted, with no tension around the mouth.

Spontaneous, involuntary surprise is often expressed for only a fraction of a second. It may be followed immediately by the emotion of fear, joy or confusion.

People generally like surprises (atleast the plesant and neutral ones). Neuroscientists have a biological reason too - They say - that the brain finds unexpected pleasures more rewarding than expected ones, and it may have little to do with what people say they like.

People also like to be in control of what thet are doing, some suprises make people fall out of control and these are the ones that are unpleasant, cause confusion or maybe even a shock :pagel:

So lets talk about happy surprises -

I like to give surprises but not given to me..


I don't remember big surprises but my room mate likes to give me surprises and most of time menu thoda intuition pehla hi hunda ke whats in her mind.. so appa inne surpirsed nai hunde.. :pagel:


Yeah, jado shote hunde c oddo dad jado v surprised outings plan karde c .. oddo bahut khushi hundi c.. :)
