ਸੁੱਕੀ ਹੋਈ ਕਲੀ ਮੈਂ ਗੁਲਾਬ ਸਾਂਭੀ ਪਈ ਆ..
ਕੱਲੀ-ਕੱਲੀ ਸੋਹਣੀਏਂ,
ਮੈਂ ਯਾਦ ਸਾਂਭੀ ਪਈ ਆ..||

ਯਾਦ ਕਰ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਕਦੇ ਰੋਵਾਂ ਕਦੇ ਹੱਸਦਾ,
ਭੁੱਲੀ ਹੋਣੀ ਤੂੰ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਫ਼ਰ ਮਿੰਨੀ-ਬੱਸ ਦਾ..

ਬੋਲਿਆ ਮਿੱਠੇ ਜਿਹੇ ਕੁਝ ਬੋਲ ਉਹ,
ਮੂੰਹ ਮੇਰਾ ਐਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਲੂਣਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ।


ਧਰਤ ਤੇ ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਹਨ ਛੂੰਹਦੇ ਜਿਵੇਂ,
ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਛੂਣਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ।


ਖ਼ੂਨ ਛੱਡੋ ਹੁਣ ਤਾਂ ਪਾਣੀ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ,
ਪਰ ਦਿਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਭਾਰ ਊਣਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ।
