Mae bahut lok dekhe ne ke appne app nu bahut rabb nal juddeya ja manno saaf dassde ne. Ke assi har roj gurdware jande aa, paath karde aa. Ke ehi lok jo path karde ne te gurdware jaande aa ke otho kuch sikheya vi lae paunde aa ja phir dikhawa hi aa? Kiyoon ke enha hi lokan toh kayi baar dekheya ke mann ch paap rakhde ne/wish ill upon the others, whereas no religion in the world teaches anyone to do so.  Religion de naam te fights karde ne, innocent lokan di jaan lende ne. Ke ehe sahi aa, ke koyi vi religion da God kahu ke mae dujje religions toh vadda and those religions should be disintegrated to prove my superiority? Ja ke tuada religion tuanu sikhaunda ke tuada hi religion sabh toh wadha and every other religion is just another peck of dust?
 
If you've given some thought to some of the above questions, then proceed to think, why is there so much chaos in the world today, in the name of religion?
 
Is it really religion or do we play out our own inferiorty complex to prove ourselves?
 
Note: the above allegations aren't towards anyone particular, just stated to prove a point. This discussion is based on religion alone, not on Sikhism or any other particular religion.

There are many people out there who consider them to be very connected to god. Maybe you have them in your family/ relative too. In my opinion there are very few people in this world who are really connected to god. Some try to copy and it just turns into stupidity. They take it to the point where it's just annoying. They want special kitchen appliances just to cook for them when they come to your house, which I find completely stupid. From personal experience, in their minds they are same as they were before they became very religious. Religion can't just change your way of thinking just over night. You can call it waheguru, allah, rab etc but there's only one god with different names, so all the religions are the same. So why do people fight over one god? Just over the names? Not worth it.

I believe that no matter what religion you are born into you pray out to the same GOD (something outthere that is beyond our thinking or something we can't explain no matter how hard we try [although we all have our own beliefs on that topic])

HOwever, looking at things around us and the world we live in, i agree that people are misusing the name of religion on doing things [they want] such as to harm others or think ill upon others as you've said. what I dont understand is that what good is it going to do to one to get everyone to think alike "you".. and/or why can't we just let others live the way they want and live the way we want ourselves..and why do we have to prove anyone how much we believe in God or if we don't believe in God at all...or if my religion is better than yours or if i am better than you so on...at the end of the day or at the end of our life ...it is our own battle with our ownself ......Me showing off how much i believe in god to the people around me isn't going to do any good  lol cause at the end ...its my deeds (good or bad) that i'm going to have to pay for not anyone else so why show it off? no religion tells us to go kill others...no one was born perfect...we are here to make mistakes and learn from them ...again life is a journey and religion may show us paths which we may or may not follow (which has nothing to do with one showing to be "more religious than the other") lol again whatever you are doing it is for your own self not others (not even god, although we make it seem like that at times) we are all SeLThEFiSH (it is allllll about ME!) lol :hehe:
