Why would you place yourself in a situation when you know you have no future? You know your parents well enough and should know what kind of person they would prefer, if you chose someone accordingly, I'm sure they wouldn't have significant issues with it. Afterall, main goal for the parents is to find their a child a partner who can give them a happy and a successfull life.

I know, i get it! the thing is, it's still not really "arranged" marriage because you love this kudi, you've met her and are planning to marry her. Since her parents disapprove and you both would like her parents to set up the marriage, you could say it's partly arranged because it would be set up by them
