...don't try to throw this on my computer speed because you and me both know it, that's not the cause.

When this topic came about, I had actually made some changes, maybe thats why people said it is fast.

If someone Stays online the whole day on one Site, user will see ups and downs during the day... Everyone who is facing the problem has an average spam of 6-7 hrs within 10-12 hrs of peak time... As a user if you keep on refershing the same page over and over again .. The server need to take a breathe

I mean Spend the simliar amount of time on any other site, yahoo/google someone will see ups and down - Not for long as there servers are Huge

And lower your expectations folks,.. like com'n.. its A Free Site and you guys are complaining way more than a bad Customers... And blaming everything on Adminstrator, I mean why would he (GS) iintentionally dont like to run it fast.. He is trying his best to run it on full speed .. So Give the guy some credit

P.S. - I wasn't planning to say anything much, but everyone is talking too harsh like a Mad Customers

The only reason I addressed this is because this has been an issue only recently. Maybe you should evaluate the situation properly before just mouthing off.

I always make changes when I receive reports like this. I've made 2 changes to slow down search engine traffic, so that our users will be higher priority to our server.

You have to understand that this site has a lot of content, which we've accumulated for 2-3 years. So we get hit pretty heavily. One way to tone it down would be to lock topics that are like 50+ pages long. We will be discussing this amongst administrators.

well, that generalization included me, hence i responded from my part. GS was already assessing the situation, you didn't have to come in here and make some worthless reply (from assumptions) to begin with...

Regarding your "hot head" I think everyone's got one of those - is that suppose to be a threat or something/ will all hell break loose? - Unnecessary comment!

Baaki an argument over some nonsense isn't required.

GS - thank you for providing some enlightenment to the issue at hand.
