There should be modify option in forum,so that we can modify our topics if posted with mistakes(spells etc.) plz

The modify option do exist for PJ VIP's.

- The reason we don't have modify option for everyone:
Lets assume we ban a user. The user will make a new ID and then abuse other users. Before a mod/admin read the post (where the banned user was abusing) the user can edit his post. If there don't exist an record we can't do justice to abused user.

So to avoid this complication we have certain criteria that a normal user has to met before we provide them with the modifing rights (Or Make them PJ VIP)

I would really like the modify option coz sometimes I post wrong spelling ...just yesterday I started a topic with a word missing and it dint make sense I guess...

but Jhanda ji's explanation is totally valid. I can live without the modify option for that reason.

I am confused ji, GURPINDER ji says that after being GABROO someone can modify the posts and JHANDA AMLI says u got it after being VIP ,what is reality? i think it takes too long time to be VIP and if i will wait for it then only my children can modify my posts , :blah:

: being a gabroo is being a VIP member ...u gotta have certain amount of posts before u can get that position :p

This isn't a good enough reason. I could argue against right now but let's not go there. And vip members can only modify our posts once.
