it does damage ur hair if u r using on daily basis and if u r not using the right amount of heating temperature. moreover, it makes ur hair frizzy and lifeless.

Yup in my opinion too...permaneent one is better...
The two most common types of permanent hair straightening are
1. Thermal reconditioning (also known as Japanese straightening) and
2.Brazilian keratin treatment. Thermal reconditioning consists of a cycle of shampooing, heating, blowing out and flat ironing, which is repeated several times.
 Brazilian keratin treatment is the newest and gentlest method; it requires an active keratin solution to be applied and the hair ironed.

I have tried both...though u will find ur hair more silky in Japanese one but they really use very harsh chemicals...But brazilian one is more safe... :happy:
